I am very happy to be with you again on Monday, because it has been several weeks since I last participated with a needlepoint Monday publication, but today I share with you this beautiful Pucca Amigurumi.

Yo estoy muy contenta de poder estar nuevamente un lunes con ustedes, pues hacía ya varias semanas que no participaba con una publicación el lunes de agujas, pero hoy les comparto ésta bella Pucca Amigurumi.

It is a request from a friend, I immediately decided to work on it. I went to get the materials and got to work. I was able to advance 50% of the work for Saturday at noon and I had to deliver it on Sunday morning. But I had rehearsal on Saturday afternoon with the music group and it took longer than expected. I honestly didn't remember during the whole rehearsal that I had a lot of work to do, as I concentrate so much on the rehearsal that I forget about everything else. But as soon as I inserted the key in the lock of my door, I remembered Pucca. I almost panicked.

Es un pedido de un amigo, me animé de inmediato a trabajar en ella. Fui por los materiales y manos a la obra. Pude adelantar un 50% del trabajo para el sábado al medio día y tenía que entregarlo el domingo en la mañana. Pero tuve ensayo el sábado en la tarde con el grupo de música y se prolongó más de lo esperado. Honestamente no me acordé durante todo el ensayo que tenía un montón de trabajo que hacer, pues me concentro tanto en el ensayo que me olvido de todo lo demás. Pero apenas introduje la llave en el cerrojo de mi puerta, me acordé de Pucca. Casi que entré en pánico.

After preparing dinner I started knitting, it was almost 9pm, I put Anne with E, it's a Netflix series inspired by the book Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maus Montgomery. A book I read as a teenager and loved it. I am watching the series for the second time. The first time was when my daughter Rafaella was born, 4 years ago. I settled into my recliner and picked up the knitting again.

Después de preparar la cena me puse a tejer, ya casi eran las 9pm, puse Anne con E, es una serie de Netflix inspirada en el libro Ana de las Tejas Verdes de Lucy Maus Montgomery. Un libro que leí en mi adolescencia y lo amé. Estoy viendo la serie por segunda vez. La primera vez fue cuando nació mi hija Rafaella, hace 4 años. Me acomodé en mi sillón y retomé el tejido.

I had the whole body moving forward, that is a beige circumference and a red half and black half. These would be the head and body. Both circumstances are made up of 13 low stitches plus an increase by 6. 14 rounds are made for the height. It's the same for the body only I changed from red to black once the 7 rounds of height were completed, so I was left with half of each color.

Tenía avanzando el cuerpo completo, es decir una circunferencia de color beige y una mitad roja y mitad negra. Estas serían la cabeza y el cuerpo. Ambas circunstancias están formadas de 13 puntos bajos más un aumento por 6. Se hacen 14 vueltas para la altura. Es lo mismo para el cuerpo solo que cambié de rojo a negro una vez completadas las 7 vueltas de altura, así me quedó la mitad de cada color.

With the hair, I switched to macramé thread since I used cotton for the body. Macramé is thicker and I didn't take into account that small detail, so I had to undo several times the half circumference of the hair because it was bigger. I started making the same amount of stitches as I did for the head, and by giving it height, it was much bigger. In the end with 10 stitches plus increase at the base, it was just right to fit perfectly on the head.

Con el cabello, cambié a hilo macramé ya que para el cuerpo use algodón. El macramé es más grueso y no tomé en cuenta ese pequeño detalle, por lo que tuve que deshacer varias veces la media circunferencia del cabello debido a que me quedaba más grande. Empecé haciendo la misma cantidad de puntos que hice para la cabeza, y al darle altura, quedaba mucho más grande. Al final con 10 puntos más aumento en la base, me resultó justo para que encajara perfectamente sobre la cabeza.

I worked the feet and hair bows with black stockinette stitches. The arms are cylinders of 18 low stitches at the widest part and then 60 low stitches without increases to give height. The hands are two circumferences of 18 single crochet stitches at their widest part for 3 rows for height and then decreases stitch by stitch.

Trabajé con los pies y moños del cabello con medias circunferencia en color negro. Los brazos son cilindros de 18 puntos bajos en su parte más ancha y luego 60 puntos bajos sin aumentos para dar altura. Las manos son dos circunferencias de 18 puntos bajos en su parte más ancha por 3 vueltas para la altura y luego disminuciones punto por medio.

Assembling everything was very easy and it was already 1:30am. I had already passed the most difficult hour, which is 12am, it usually happens to me that I struggle with sleep until that time, but after that time, I wake up completely. I finished at 2am. I had watched several episodes of the series and enjoyed them very much. I like to watch this kind of series alone, something that is only my taste, because my husband gets bored and the kids are not even talking, so I wait for my moments alone to do these things are just for me.

Ensamblar todo fue muy sencillo y ya era la 1:30am. Ya había pasado la hora más difícil, que son las 12am, me suele pasar que batallo con el sueño hasta esa hora, pero después de esa hora, me despabilo completamente. Terminé a las 2am. Había visto varios capítulos de la serie y los disfruté mucho. Me gusta ver este tipo de series sola, algo que es solamente de mi gusto, porque mi esposo se aburre y los niños ni hablar, así que espero mis momentos sola para hacer estas cosas son solo para mí.

I had only 3 hours to sleep because on Sundays I get up at 5am because of my commitments at the Lesia Church and the first service starts at 7am. I left everything on the couch, just picked up the remnants of thread from the floor and without thinking about it I turned off the TV and threw the blankets over me. I felt a sense of relief and satisfaction for the job done. Here is Pucca. I delivered it yesterday morning and my friend was super happy with the job. In fact in the evening she wrote me to ask me to make Olaf and Po from Kung Fu Panda and I, of course, was very happy. See you next time.

Tenía solamente 3 horas para dormir porque los domingos me levanto a las 5 am por mis compromisos en la Iglesia lesia y el primer servicio comienza a las 7am. Dejé todo sobre el sillón, solo recogí los restos de hilo del piso y sin pensarlo más apagué el televisor y me eche las cobijas encima. Tenía una sensación de alivio y satisfacción por el trabajo concluido. Aquí está Pucca. La entregué ayer en la mañana y mi amigo estuvo súper contento con el trabajo. De hecho en la noche me escribió para pedirme que le hiciera a Olaf y Po de Kung Fu Panda y yo, por supuesto, muy feliz. Hasta la próxima.
