Hi! Fellow needle workers. Hope you are doing well. This is my first crochet experience. As you know crocheting is very popular these days. After seeing crotch items on internet. I felt like I should try it too. But for this I had to need crotch material. So, I bought crotch material.
And then I spent most of my time searching for how to crochet. While scrolling, I really liked this bracelet, so I decided to make it.
Yarn
Crochet hook
Needle
scissor
For this I use yarn of two colors. Then cut four pieces as I need.
Then I make slip knot using four pieces and placing yarn onto crotch hook.
At the start, I faced a little difficulty in managing the yarn. After 4 to 5 attempts, I couldn't do it properly, so I asked my niece to hold both parts of the yarn. However, this plan didn’t succeed. Then, I thought of another trick—🤔maybe I should use scotch tape to fix the yarn. But that didn’t work either. Finally, I held one color of yarn around my finger and the other around my thumb, and started practicing. After two or three tries, I was able to do it perfectly. Now, I will twist the hook under the pink color yarn and yarn over and pull through.
As my first chain is completed, I make 19 or 20 chains in the same pattern, depending on the length I need. Lastly i pull the yarn from the last chain and knot the yarn to secure it.
Now i make a flower from the same color yarn. For this, I wrap the yarn around my finger and make at least 20 loops.
Now I will remove the yarn from my finger, and cut off enough yarn that I can use for secure it. Now I will pass the needle inside the loops and in this way I will secure the yarn.
I will make four parts, two pink, two maroon. I will join these four parts using needle. Lastly I use a button for making it more attractive. Now I will attach this flower the bracelet.
When it was fully ready, I felt 😔that the bracelet looked better and more decent without the flower, as it looked very odd with the flower. I gift this to my niece.. Her expression was full of 😀happiness. Then I felt a bit of relief that my hard work wouldn’t go to waste.
So this was my little attempt to pershu my skills. Hope you would like it🥰
