Greetings, my dear friends of the needles. I hope you are enjoying a week full of projects and many satisfactions, with lots of health and well-being.
November is here and with this month the prelude to the most beautiful month of the year. The month of joy, colors and sharing. Already in the shop windows Christmas is on display and there are many bright decorations of traditional colors, lights and garlands everywhere.
The Christmas spirit invaded me and got me creative. So, this weekend, I set out to embroider an ornament for my desk to start with the Christmas decoration of my home.
Saludos, mis queridos amigos de las agujas. Espero que estén disfrutando de una semana llena de proyectos y muchas satisfacciones, con mucha salud y bienestar.
Llegó noviembre y con este mes la antesala al mes más bonito del año. El mes de la alegría, los colores y el compartir. Ya en las vidrieras la Navidad está exhibida y se ven muchos adornos llamativos de los colores tradicionales, luces y guirnaldas por doquier.
El espíritu navideño me invadió y me puso creativa. Así, este fin de semana, me dispuse a bordar un adorno para mi escritorio para comenzar con la decoración navideña de mi hogar.
For the realization of my ornament, of course I thought of something embroidered, so I looked for the materials I needed: a piece of fabric, my skeins and the embroidery drum.
I wrote with a graphite pencil the phrase that sums up the most beautiful wish for this time of the year: Merry Christmas. I also embroidered the traditional Christmas wreath around it to wrap the phrase.
Para la realización de mi adorno, por supuesto que pensé en algo bordado, así busqué los materiales que necesitaba: un pedazo de tela, mis madejas y el tambor de bordado.
Escribí con un lápiz de grafito la frase que resume el deseo más bonito en estas fechas: Feliz Navidad. Además, bordé alrededor la tradicional guirnalda navideña para envolver la frase.
The main stitches of this embroidery were the chain stitch, the daisy stitch and the French knot, using skeins with the traditional Christmas colors.
Los puntos protagonistas de este bordado fueron la cadeneta, el punto margarita y el nudo francés, usando madejas con los colores tradicionales de la Navidad.

It was a simple and quick embroidery because I finished it practically in one day.
After finishing the design, I mounted it on a wooden picture frame, horizontally to put it on my desk as the first decorative element for this Christmas.
I really liked the result, it is a detail that will last in time and that is made with a lot of love and illusion.
I love these dates, because they are very special to share with family and friends, to give gifts and this embroidered picture is a good option to give to our family and friends during these holidays.
May creativity be our companion during these days and may many ideas arise to make and share.
Fue un bordado sencillo y rápido porque lo terminé prácticamente en un día.
Luego de terminado el diseño, lo monté en un portarretrato de madera, en sentido horizontal para ponerlo en mi escritorio como el primer elemento decorativo para esta Navidad.
Me gustó mucho el resultado, es un detalle que perdurará en el tiempo y que está hecho con mucho amor e ilusión.
Me encantan estas fechas, pues son muy especiales para compartir en familia y con amigos, para obsequiar y este cuadro bordado es una buena opción para regalar a nuestros familiares y amigos en estas festividades.
Que la creatividad sea nuestra compañera por estos días y que surjan muchas ideas para hacer y compartir.
