Greetings, my dear friends of the needles. I hope you are all well, healthy and well being and that you can enjoy, to the fullest, the weekend that is already near.
Today, I want to share with you another of my embroidered creations. This time, I opened my closet to look for a garment to intervene and renew it, and so I came across this blouse that I haven't worn for a long time, but it is not one of those garments that are given away because they are not used.
This blouse is very special to me, I wore it for the first time on my 51st birthday, the last birthday I spent with my mom. For this reason, I want to keep it for many years to come.
I hadn't worn it for a while and that's why I wanted to renew it and wear it again.
With the blouse in my hands, I was thinking about whether to embroider a colorful flower design or just embroider a sprig of flowers with white thread.
Finally, I decided to make a little white branch, and here I show you the result.
Saludos, mis queridos amigos de las agujas. Espero que todos se encuentren muy bien, con salud y bienestar y que puedan disfrutar, al máximo, del fin de semana que ya está cerquita.
Hoy, quiero compartir con ustedes otra de mis creaciones bordadas. Esta vez, abrí mi clóset para buscar alguna prenda para intervenirla y renovarla, y así me topé con esta blusa que tengo mucho tiempo sin usar, pero que no es de esas prendas que se regalan porque no se usan.
Esta blusa es muy especial para mí, me la estrené el día de mi cumpleaños número 51, el último cumpleaños que pasé con mi mamá. Por esto, la quiero conservar por muchos años más.
Hacía rato que no la usaba y por eso quise renovarla para ponérmela de nuevo.
Con la blusa en mis manos, estuve pensando si le bordaba un diseño de flores coloridas o sólo bordar un ramito de flores con hilo blanco.
Finalmente, me decidí por hacer un ramito blanco, y aquí les muestro el resultado.
To embroider the twig on my blouse I used perle thread because it gives a very delicate and shiny finish. I used a special white pencil to make drawings on fabric and I let my imagination run wild and traced the design that I embroidered with chain stitch, scallop and daisy stitch.
This embroidery was done quickly, in about three hours with a few breaks. I loved the result.
Now, I have my blouse renewed and pretty to wear it very soon.

Para bordar el ramito en mi blusa usé hilo perlé porque da un acabado bien delicado y brillante. Usé un lápiz blanco especial para hacer dibujos en tela, me dejé llevar por la imaginación y tracé el diseño que bordé con puntadas cadeneta, festón y margarita.
Este bordado lo hice rápido, en tres horas con algunas pausas, aproximadamente. Me encantó el resultado.
Ahora, tengo mi blusa renovada y linda para ponérmela muy pronto.
