The last embroideries of my project (EN-ES)

Greetings, my dear needle friends. I hope you are doing very well, enjoying health and well-being.

Today, I come to tell you that I have finished embroidering the twenty-four handkerchiefs I had planned to make as gifts for my mother's mass.

I feel a little nostalgic because in each embroidery there is a thought for my mother, in each stitch I remembered her advice and recommendations, both for the art of embroidery and for the art of living. Because, just as in embroidery, in life itself, we choose the best threads to weave relationships, to embroider colorful circumstances and make the most beautiful designs of our lives.

Also, I feel satisfaction for the finished work. It has been three months in which I have felt relaxed, in which I have felt a lot of peace, enjoying this project to the fullest.

Embroidery is the hobby that became my passion, what I love to do to connect with my being and my emotions.

After finishing this project, I already have others in mind because I want to continue embroidering. I love to be among my skeins of colors and see how the different stitches give shape to beautiful designs.

Saludos, mis queridos amigos de las agujas. Espero que se encuentren muy bien, disfrutando de salud y bienestar.

Hoy, vengo a contarles que ya terminé de bordar los veinticuatro pañuelos que tenía previsto para hacer los detalles de obsequio para la misa de mi mamá.

Siento un poco de nostalgia porque en cada bordado hay un pensamiento para mi madre, en cada puntada recordaba sus consejos y sus recomendaciones, tanto para el arte de bordar como para el arte de vivir. Pues, tal cual como en el bordado, en la vida misma, nosotros escogemos los mejores hilos para tejer relaciones, para bordar circunstancias llenas de colores y hacer los diseños más bonitos de nuestra vida.

También, siento satisfacción por el trabajo terminado. Han sido tres meses en los que me he sentido relajada, en los que he sentido mucha paz, disfrutando al máximo este proyecto.

Bordar es el hobby que se convirtió en mi pasión, en lo que amo hacer para conectarme con mi ser y con mis emociones.

Luego de terminar con este proyecto, ya tengo pensado otros porque quiero seguir bordando. Amo estar entre mis madejas de colores y ver cómo se da forma con los diferentes puntos a diseños hermosos.

I love embroidering flowers. Most of the designs for this project were flowers, and to finish my embroideries, I let myself go and the result was: two hearts and a moon, all filled with flowers.

I share with you the photos of the last six embroideries that complete the two dozen handkerchiefs. Now, I am going to wash them to make them impeccable and then I will make the final assembly that I will show you later.

For these embroideries, I used the same stitches with which I have been embroidering: daisy stitch, filling, fly, backstitch, French knot, chain stitch and rosette.

I am very happy with the result of this beautiful work that I set out to honor my mother, and with the idea of remembering her, through one of her teachings in my life. She loved to embroider, knit, sew and she left this pleasure in me.

Amo bordar flores. La mayoría de los diseños de este proyecto fueron flores, y para terminar mis bordados, me dejé llevar y el resultado fue: dos corazones y una luna, todos rellenos de flores.

Les comparto las fotos de los seis últimos bordados que completan las dos docenas de pañuelos. Ahora, los voy a lavar para que queden impecables y, luego, voy a hacer el montaje definitivo que les mostraré más adelante.

Para estos bordados, usé los mismos puntos con los que he venido bordando: punto margarita, relleno, mosca, pespunte, nudo francés, cadeneta y rosetón.

Estoy muy contenta con el resultado de este hermoso trabajo que me propuse para honrar a mi madre, y con la idea de que la recuerden, a través de una de sus enseñanzas en mi vida. A ella le encantaba bordar, tejer, coser y dejó sembrado en mí este placer.
