I recently acquired a pattern-making book and had been looking for ways to practice. But since I didn't have enough fabric to make several shirts I decided to venture with a silly idea I had.
When you start sewing, practice is the only way to get good at it. But in that, you can waste many hours making garments that do not fit well and losing a huge amount of fabric (and money) so that after 4 or 5 attempts, the garment is as you wanted.

Hace poco adquirí un libro de patronaje y había estado buscando formas de practicar. Pero como no tenia suficiente tela para realizar varias camisas decidí aventurarme con una idea tonta que tuve.
Cuando uno empieza a coser, la practica es la única manera de volverse bueno. Pero en eso se puede perder muchísimas horas haciendo prendas que no quedan bien y perdiendo una enorme cantidad de tela (y dinero) para que luego de 4 o 5 intentos, la prenda quedé como querías.
Since I have a mannequin, it occurred to me that I would only have to do the pieces that I want to practice. That way, you could make that sleeve over and over again without wasting fabric for an entire blouse or dress. And after perfecting it, I can sew the garment I want knowing that it will be perfect.
The advantage of this is that it can be practiced with the cheapest fabrics. And since only parts of a garment are made, you save a lot with this.
Como tengo un maniquí, se me ocurrió que solo tendría que hacer las piezas que quiero practicar. Así, podría hacer esa manga una y otra vez sin gastar tela para una blusa o un vestido completo. Y luego de perfeccionarla, puedo coser la prenda que quiero sabiendo que quedará perfecta.
La ventaja de esto, es que se puede practicar con las telas más baratas. Y como solo se hacen partes de una prenda, se ahorra muchísimo con esto.

After practicing I decided to make this white shirt with a simple shirt collar. After doing so many weird collars, the shirt collar came out perfectly.

Después de practicar decidí hacer esta camisa blanca con un cuello camisero simple. Después de hacer tantos cuellos raros, el cuello camisero me salió a la perfección.
