I love doing embroidery when I have a project in mind. A few years ago, friends of mine started a wellness business, and as a gift I embroidered their logo on a bag.
It sort of reignited a love of creating in that medium so I did a few other small projects I will probably share in later posts. I also decided to take a class through Craftsy and made a cute little bag for our dogs 'school things'. (We were starting obedience school with the puppy we had just rescued and there were a bunch of things we took with us to class.)
I am a lazy crafter and tend not to get too involved with any downloading of patterns or resizing this or that. I just go for it and accept whatever the results are.
I don't even bother ironing...which is probably why I can't draw a proper circle.
But the miracle of the hoop, flattens it all out!
I'm not really sure I even stuck to the stitches the tutorial suggested...I have a handful of stitches I just love doing. So I stick to a basic sampler of stitches.
But was an easy beginner tutorial.
I just followed the same general pattern for all three circles, using whatever colors I happened to have in my embroidery kit.
I was very pleased with the results after all!
It was the perfect bag for the dog's stuff! ;)
