Hello everyone

Happy new week and a beautiful Monday to you all o.n this beautiful day, I hope you all had a lovely weekend, this is a lovely Monday and I you are all ready to bring your creativity out here for us to learn and get inspired by your creative design. It is with great pleasure that I will be sharing with you the making of this beautiful wrapper gown outfit I made with the combination of two different fabrics and a pleated slit at the back.

Wrapper gown is a beautiful style with the combination of a gown and a wrapper attached to the side to make it look like a two in outfit, to give it a little touch of design and creativity, I made a pleated slit with another matching fabric at the back, this gave it a beautiful outcome and finally the two fabrics were also combined to make a simple stylish sleeve to tge armhole.
Join me as I take you through the cutting and sewing process below
In my previous post, I gave a detailed step by step process of making the lower part of the outfit which was set aside for the completion and today, I'm here to share the making of the upper bodice and final outcome with you.

To make the upper bodice, first thing I did was to draft out a princess dart bustier pattern of the upper bodice of the front and back on a brown paper before it was been transferred on the main fabric with the combination of the two fabrics

All the pieces were used to cut out a corresponding lining with 1.5" zipper allowance at the back

The lining were used to turn the neckline and sides for neat finishing after which the front were sewn together as well as the back

The front and back were sewn together with the side seam allowance and I have my upper bodice ready

The upper bodice was sewn to the lower bodice with a belt at the back to secure the wrapper

I proceeded to make a beautiful sleeve with the combination of both fabric to make a straight and Puff sleeve which was gathered together at the hem with an elastic band

Finally, the sleeves were sewn to the armhole circumference and this is the final and beautiful outcome

I hope you like the beautiful outcome, join me in my next post as I will be sharing with you all beautiful diy, craft and creativity from my sewing room.
