Hello everyone
Sometimes ago, I visited my friend who got married, after the visit, I set out to go home after spending much time with her then she handed me some of her fabric that was given to her as gifts on her wedding day that I should help her make simple dresses with them, I asked for money for materials but she declined instead, she just asked me to go with the fabrics.
For a very long time now, those fabrics has been with me without hearing anything from her about the fabric. Last week, I went to her neighborhood and I decided to say hi to her, I stayed with her for awhile before I went back home, on getting home, I remembered her fabrics with me, so this week, I decided to make a surprise dress for her from one of her fabrics.
Though I have been busy, but with the little time I have to spare, I have decided to make the dress bit by bit until I'm able to finish it and give her a surprise.
This is the maki g of the monostrap princess dart bustier I was able to draft out and sew yesterday just to set it aside until I'm able to have time to complete it since there is no particular date for delivery.
After drafting out the pattern o come brown paper, OT was transferred to the main fabric to cut out same shape and I embellished the front with glittering stones to bring out the beauty befor sewing the bustier together.
Now that I have made the upper bodice, I'm left with the lower bodice to make a complete dress.
