I was told I could share my skill here on Hive, learn from others and also get to earn some crypto tokens... All that sounded really interesting and got me curious to see how my journey as a fashion designer would be like if I get active on Hive alongside having fun with my skills offline as I've been doing.
Well, I wasn't told I'd have to introduce myself... Oh my! This took me hours to come up with, what about me do I have to share aside my love for fashion designing? I asked myself.
So you'll allow me introduce myself in the best way I could think of, this is after a guide I got from my friend turned sister who told me about Hive.
The name is Oghenevwegba Omoko
I don't have an English name but then, I do have a brand name which I decided to tweak a little to use as my username here on Hive which is "Blessedempire". My native name "Oghenevwegba" is from my tribe "Urhobo" meaning "God has power". I'm a Nigerian from Delta precisely and I also live here in Delta with my family.
I'm getting a little stuck on what more to share about my personal detail. Oh yeah! My family.
I have a very supportive family that I can't trade for anything in this world... I'm the first son having three other siblings who I am made to take responsibility for as their eldest and I've grown to love them so much. Two are married and living away from home while my younger sister and I still live with mum and dad for now.
I have a lot Hobbies!
The first obvious one is my skill turned hobby for me, I enjoy designing and sewing a new wear for a customer while satisfying their taste and order. The satisfaction that comes after a wear is done is one feeling I enjoy having every time.
I also enjoy spending time with friends, that's a close friend of mine in the picture above. We'd take long walks together a lot until he moved to a different state but we are still very close and communicate when we can.
I play video games when I'm not sewing, I also enjoy playing soccer, watch movies and I swim when I get the chance too.
From here, I'll be sharing some of my past works as a Fashion designer.
As you can see, I design different kinds of male wears for myself, friends and customers in the fashion shop I work in. I started to work with my Boss after learning from him for some years and it's been a good journey of learning and improving myself.
I don't own a grand fashion shop yet but I believe in small beginnings to a bigger dream and I am working towards owning my own fashion shop someday.

Hopefully I'll be active enough to interact with other fashion designers as I have began the steps by following up the related communities and also followed a few whose work I love while I was exploring the platform.
