I am glad to be here,today has been a beautiful day
And i am glad that i could take part in today's needleworkmonday content.
When i got back from my holiday,i was told that my aunty's eldest daughter had her birthday celebration
She has been such a sweet soul.
She is kind and loving and i feel i am privileged to get her a hand made gift.
I made it with so much love and appreciation for her kindness towards me.
Initially i was confused of what to get for her,since i didn't have much,i decided to work with a little i have but uniquely.
She loves going to beach so i knew that a bikini top would be a perfect gift for her.
Well,am just being hopeful and i wish she will like it.
The things i used in making bikini top.
Vintage fabric, measuring tape, and scissors
Here are the procedures below
Firstly, the fabric was folded in a triangular.
From the shoulder to under burst i took eleven inches
I made sure i created four pieces from it.
Next procedure:i cut them out and sew by the side,(not the right side of the fabric)
I prepared the robe by cutting out straight lines,i took twenty inches.
Next Procedure: for the waist i made a band of three inches (width) and the band was forty inches because i wanted the rope to be enough for her as she will tie it behind her back.
Finally i made sure it was neat and presentable.
I tried it out on the mannequin and i guess it's okay.
