The first thing I did was to look for the materials since my makeup was the Grinch and I had a crochet scarf that my sister gave me for Christmas 2016 and I was missing a Christmas hat. Then I came across a triangle of red fabric and a white sock that had no pair. I also found a white pom-pom that was the tail of a plush bunny and the black elastics of a disposable facemask. Scissors, thread and needles helped me with the rest.

Lo primero que hice fue buscar los materiales ya que mi maquillaje era el Grinch y tenía una bufanda de crochet que me regaló mi hermana la navidad del 2016 y me faltaba un gorro navideño. Entonces me encontré un triángulo de tela color rojo y un calcetín blanco que no tenía par. También encontré un pompón blanco que era la cola de un conejo de felpa y las elásticas color negro de una mascarilla desechable. Tijera, hilo y agujas me ayudaron con el resto.

I started by joining the triangle of fabric, once sewn, I turned it inside out and sewed the pompom at the tip of the cone.

Comencé uniendo el triángulo de tela, una vez cosido le si la vuelta y cosí el pompón en la punta del cono.

I then cut the sock and pulled out a strip to make the base of my beanie.

Luego corté el calcetín y saqué una franja para hacer la base de mi gorrito.

I attached the white stripe at the bottom and finally sewed the elastic on each side of the hat to hold it on my head.

Uní la franja blanca en la parte de abajo y para finalizar cosí los elásticos de cada lado del gorro para poder sostenerlo en mi cabeza.

The result was fantastic, with materials that were no longer being used I was able to create this beautiful Christmas hat to do my artistic makeup.

El resultado fue fantástico, con materiales que ya no se estaban utilizando pude crear este bello gorrito de navidad para hacer mi maquillaje artístico.
