Dear sewing friends!

I made my regular trip to the mercato in Telese on Saturday morning - but this time I was all jazzed up and excited, having finished my sweatercoat inspired by Katwise!

I now have an even-more-splendid collection of woollens, to repurpose, and cannot WAIT to get started!

My favourite snatch was this gorgeous woollen poncho, though I bought it for the magnificent zip which runs ita full length! Fantastic and elegant for another sweatercoat!

I'm loving seeing the colours settle into groups with potential for being a garment...

Really excited too, to find several wool garmentsalso with fabulous natural buttons to be reclaimed: a set of these would certainly cost more than 50c, plus there's afab jumper attached!

So I'm feeling super-blessed to live insuch a culture where cashmire/ mohair/angora secondhand sweaters are so very undervalued....
