YES!! My beautiful summer dress is complete! No matter that our drought and winter heatwave finally broke, and it's been chilly and pouring down for days...
The dress came from a deconstructed favourite dress that made me look square ...brought together with a fuschia linen vest which never fit either.
I cut the sleeves and skirt off the fruit-pattern dress, cut a section off the length of the vest, took the sides of the vest in to fit the skirt and my waist, put a long hidden zip into the side, and cut and hemmed the sleeves to a nice short and flattering length.
It's making me so happy and fulfilled to be transforming my wardrobe like this! Can't wait until it's warm enough again to sit about in the garden drinking aperitivos! 😍🍾🥂🍹🔥☀️
