Hello #needleworkmonday Community. I'm back. Very happy with the final result of my creation. In this opportunity I am going to present you the step by step for the elaboration of the Woven wallet lining. I hope it is to your liking and understanding.
II PARTE. FORRO PARA LA CARTERA TEJIDA.
- Materiales: Necesitamos la cartera previamente tejida. Tela blanca o beigs. Aguja e hilos de coser colores blanco y verde oscuro. Un cierre de 20 cm (plástico). Tijeras. Alfileres. Cinta decorativa. Aguja lanera.
- Materials: We need the previously knitted wallet. White or beige fabric. Needle and sewing threads in white and dark green colors. A 20 cm zipper (plastic). Scissors. Pins. Decorative ribbon. Wool needle.
- Procedimiento: Medimos en la tela el tamaño de la cartera, dejando unos cm adicionales para coser el cierre. Elaboramos un saco o bolsa el cual colocaremos dentro de la cartera. Una vez hecho el saco doblamos hacia afuera el borde superior del forro. Volvemos a medir para asegurarnos que quede bien.
- Procedure: We measure on the fabric the size of the wallet, leaving a few extra cm to sew the zipper. We make a sack or bag which we will place inside the wallet. Once the bag is made, fold out the top edge of the lining. Measure again to make sure it fits well.
- Una vez bien cosido el forro procedemos a pegar el cierre color verde. Para ello usaremos un hilo del mismo color del cierre.
- Once the lining is well sewn we proceed to glue the green zipper. To do this we will use a thread of the same color as the zipper.
- El forro lo introducimos en la cartera y cosemos con hilo verde. Procuraremos coser justo en la vuelta de color negro de la pretina. Para ayudarnos un poco sostenemos el forro a la cartera con algunos alfileres.
- The lining is inserted into the purse and sewn with green thread. We will try to sew just in the black color lap of the waistband. To help us a little bit we hold the lining to the bag with some pins.
- Decora a tu gusto. Yo coloqué una cinta blanca con borde dorado sólo a un lado de la cartera. Pasando la cinta cada 5 puntos puntos por dentro y por fuera en la segunda vuelta de pa. tejida.
- Decorate as you like. I placed a white ribbon with a gold border only on one side of the purse. I passed the ribbon every 5 stitches inside and outside in the second round of knitted stitch.
Resultado final. Cartera tejida con forro y cierre.
