Hola a todos. Deseándoles que pasen una muy buena semana. El día de hoy les quiero mostrar un nuevo diseño de crédito, chanchito o marranito. En Venezuela los llamamos 🐖 cochinos. La verdad es que a pesar de lo que piensen algunas personas estos animalitos son curiosos, yo los veo lindos, aunque andén asquerosos y malolientes. Empecé a tenerles cariño porque mis padres criaban allá en el pueblo. Ustedes no se imaginan el dolor que se siente cuando previo a la navidad la familia comienza a discutir sobre cuál cerdito sacrificarán para hacer el horneado y las hallacas. Pero esa es la cruda verdad, nadie los cría para esperar que mueran de viejos y además la carne de cochino es deliciosa, a mí me encanta comerla. Este modelo de cerdito que les presento el día de hoy me encantó hacerlo, andaba con la idea desde hace unos días ya que la mayoría me comentó que el CERDO que les mostré estaba bien gordito 🤣 entonces me dije, voy a suponer que es hembra y está embarazada. Y así fue que nació la idea de hacer esta muestra.

Hello to all of you. Wishing you all a great week. Today I want to show you a new credit design, chanchito or marranito. In Venezuela we call them 🐖 cochinos. The truth is that despite what some people think these little animals are curious, I see them cute, even if they are filthy and smelly. I started to be fond of them because my parents raised them in the village. You can't imagine the pain you feel when before Christmas the family starts arguing about which piglet will be sacrificed to make the baking and the hallacas. But that's the harsh truth, no one raises them to wait for them to die of old age and besides, pig meat is delicious, I love to eat it. This piglet model that I present to you today I loved to do it, I had the idea for a few days since most people told me that the PIG that I showed you was very chubby 🤣 so I said to myself, I will assume that it is a female and is pregnant. And that's how the idea of making this sample was born.

Elegí hacerlo con hilo acrílico para que su tamaño fuera pequeño. Les cuento que tejer con este hilo me cansa mucho la mano, a diferencia de tejer con el pabilo, este acrílico me cuesta usarlo. Sin embargo lo seguiré usando porque el acabado es genial.
Para hacer el chanchito solo basto tejer puntos bajos en aumentos y disminuciones e hice una sola pieza. Se teje muy muy rápido, pero yo tardé un poco porque siento el hilo duro que no resbala bien en el gancho. Un detalle que me gustó mucho es que la pancita le quedó gordita 😂

I chose to make it with acrylic yarn so that its size would be small. I tell you that knitting with this yarn makes my hand very tired, unlike knitting with the wick, this acrylic yarn is very hard to use. However, I will continue to use it because the finish is great.
To make the piggy I only needed to knit low stitches in increases and decreases and I made only one piece. It knits very quickly, but it took me a while because I feel the hard yarn does not slip well on the hook. A detail that I really liked is that the tummy was chubby 😂

🙋🏾‍♀️ Hace unos días conversé con una amiga tejedora y me comentó que ella también padece de tiempo en tiempo de los dolores en el codo, antebrazo y mano. Al parecer es consecuencia del tiempo que le dedicamos a tejer y usar el teléfono. Yo no lo dudo, porque yo paso del tejido al teléfono 📲 apenas termino de tejer. Hago mis reposos diarios y ejercicios, sin embargo me dió una tendinitis muy fuerte que hasta hoy siento los jalones. Por eso ando evitando usar el hilo acrílico y sigo tejiendo con pabilo. El pabilo para los que no lo conocen, es un hilo de algodón un poquito rústico, pero se deja trabajar muy bien.

🙋🏾‍♀️ A few days ago I talked to a knitting friend of mine and she told me that she also suffers from time to time from pain in her elbow, forearm and hand. Apparently it is a consequence of the time we spend knitting and using the phone. I don't doubt it, because I switch from knitting to the phone 📲 as soon as I finish knitting. I do my daily rests and exercises, however I got a very strong tendonitis that until today I feel the pulls. That's why I avoid using acrylic yarn and continue to knit with wick. The wick for those who do not know it, is a cotton thread a little rustic, but it is very easy to work with.

🐖 Este modelo de cochinito se teje fácil, se hace el cuerpo, las patitas, el rabito y el hocico. No lleva mucho relleno, solo en el cuerpo. Se cosen las piezas y listo. Una vez que le ponemos los ojitos se nos arruga el corazón, porque el animalito se llena de vida. ¡Díganme que no es tierno!

🐖 This model of piglet is easy to knit, the body, the legs, the tail and the snout are made. It does not have much stuffing, only in the body. Sew the pieces together and that's it. Once we put the little eyes, our hearts wrinkle, because the little animal is full of life. Tell me it's not cute!
