Hola queridos amigos de #hive una vez más paso por la comunidad para mostrarles una de mis más recientes creaciones. A pesar de que mi hijo sigue necesitando de mi atención y cuidados las 24 horas del día yo me las ingenio para aprovechar sus momentos de sueño y distracción. En esas horas, a veces pocas, me dedico a realizar las manualidades mientras hago también algún oficio como lavar la ropa (con la lavadora). Me hace mucho bien y me relaja. La verdad es que jamás pensé que podía pasar por esto. Tener a mi hijo con una discapacidad y verlo todos los días luchando para caminar, tratar de hablar mejor y recordar, me da mucho dolor. Las manualidades son una via de escape. Primero las hacía para olvidarme de la escasez y las necesidades, que todavía las hay, ahora mi mente necesita olvidarse de todo por unas horas y haciendo algo con mis manos logro estar relajada. Espero que ustedes comprendan ☺️ además antes de dormir 💤 me tomo un tiempo para hacer los collage y luego me pongo a redactar. Antes hacía todo seguido, actualmente en dos o tres días termino un post. Estoy agradecida con Dios porque a pesar de todo estamos bien dentro de mi casita con mis dos hijos sobreviviendo. ¡Bienvenidos a mi blog!
Hello dear friends at #hive, once again I am visiting the community to show you one of my latest creations. Although my son still needs my attention and care 24 hours a day, I manage to take advantage of his moments of sleep and distraction. During those hours, which are sometimes few, I devote myself to crafts while also doing chores such as washing clothes (with the washing machine). It does me a lot of good and relaxes me. The truth is that I never thought I would go through this. Having my son with a disability and seeing him struggle every day to walk, try to speak better, and remember things causes me a lot of pain. Crafts are an escape. At first, I did them to forget about the scarcity and needs, which still exist, but now my mind needs to forget about everything for a few hours, and doing something with my hands helps me relax. I hope you understand ☺️. Also, before going to sleep 💤, I take some time to make collages and then I start writing. I used to do everything at once, but now it takes me two or three days to finish a post. I am grateful to God because, despite everything, we are doing well in my little house with my two children, surviving. Welcome to my blog!

Ustedes saben que trabajo con el material que tenga disponible en el momento. Lamentablemente por aquí las ventas de tejido no tienen vida. Entonces tejo por placer y siempre me van quedando retazos de hilos. Quise aprovechar algunos para realizar una manualidad que me encantó y además me está siendo muy útil. Además de práctica también es decorativa. Les voy a mostrar en sencillos pasos cómo la realicé.
You know that I work with whatever materials I have available at the time. Unfortunately, fabric sales are sluggish around here. So I knit for pleasure, and I always end up with scraps of yarn. I wanted to use some of them to make a craft that I loved and that is also very useful to me. In addition to being practical, it is also decorative. I'm going to show you how I made it in a few simple steps.
Para realizar los sujetadores de cables utilicé retazos de hilos pabilo. Es el hilo que más utilizo ya que es el más económico del mercado, además es resistente, duradero y lavable. Tejí con una aguja de crochet de 2,25mm. También necesité las tijeras, la aguja llanera y algunos botones.
El procedimiento para la elaboración es bastante sencilla. Si ya sabes tejer a CROCHET o al menos conoces los puntos básicos, podrás tejerlos sin ningún problema. Empiezas con una cadena del largo que quieras hacer los sujetadores. Luego tejes puntos altos sobre las cadenas por ambos lados, realizando un aumento en los extremos de la cadena. Luego tejes igual, pero con puntos bajos. Terminas con un punto deslizado, cortas el hilo y escondes la hebra.
To make the cable ties, I used scraps of wick thread. This is the thread I use most often because it is the cheapest on the market, as well as being strong, durable, and washable. I crocheted with a 2.25 mm crochet hook. I also needed scissors, a flat needle, and some buttons.
The procedure for making them is quite simple. If you already know how to crochet or at least know the basic stitches, you will be able to crochet them without any problems. Start with a chain of the length you want the fasteners to be. Then crochet double crochet stitches on both sides of the chain, increasing at the ends of the chain. Then crochet the same way, but with single crochet stitches. Finish with a slip stitch, cut the thread, and hide the end.
Puedes colocarles broches, pero como yo no tengo decidí sujetarlo con botón. Es por ello que en uno de los extremos realicé una asa pequeña con solo cadenas. También puedes decorarlos. Fíjate bien donde va colocado el botón si es que quieres hacerle alguna decoracion. Me encantó hacer estos sujetadores. Soy una persona ordenada y la verdad es que ver los cables estirados sobre las mesas no me gusta nada. Así que con estos SUJETADORES salgo de una molestia, fácil y rápido. Los tejí en una tarde y luego otro día les coloqué botones. Solo para las fotos les coloqué apliques que realicé con plastilina 😉
You can attach clasps, but since I don't have any, I decided to fasten it with a button. That's why I made a small loop with chains at one end. You can also decorate them. Take a good look at where the button is placed if you want to add any decoration. I loved making these fasteners. I'm a tidy person and I really don't like seeing cables stretched out on tables. So with these CABLESTRAPS, I can get rid of that annoyance quickly and easily. I knitted them in one afternoon and then added buttons another day. Just for the photos, I added some decorations I made with plasticine 😉
