If you have been following my blog for a couple of days you'd have come across my post on how I started the process of sewing an office dress for myself.
I made the first one today and it was as easy as it gets. It took me less than an hour and a half to complete it because of two reasons. The first is that it was a simple design and the second is that I have cut the pieces and arranged them neatly about two days ago, all I did was to join them together.
After I was done with the sewing I wore the blouse to test the fitness but I discovered it was somewhat tight by the side, so I had to loose and sew again. Well, this was not an issue because I left some allowance on both sides. The allowance is highly necessary if I need to adjust the dress in future due to an increase or reduction in size. You never can tell.
