It's been a while friends. Aaah, i wasn't able to post and engage the last weeks because i have to finish some crochet orders. And there came the Holy Week.
How was all your Holy Week celebration friends?
It is a week where families gather and enjoy the time while celebrating our Lord Jesus Christ. This is one of the longest week we have our Daddy too ( my husband).
And here is my finished Crochet Mirabel from the Disney Movie Encanto!
I followed the Green Frog Crochet Body Pattern.
She is 9 and half inches in height from shoes to the top of her hair.
I also used a Milk Cotton 5 ply yarn with a 2.5mm hook and a 3mm hook for the hair.
Here is a closer look!
And oh, she is a dress up Doll too! Take a look!
After making the body, I then made the Dress. I have used the blue colors and a darker green yarn on the bottom part. And then, there is a darker blue color on the most bottom part of the dress. Here is the basic look.
Next, adding the small details! This is what made the dress to be really time consuming because of the small details that i have to make one by one such as the flowers and the butterflies. And then, i embroidered the other details.
I also added the Pink tassels on the bottom part of the dress because i am really trying me best to get the details right. I followed Green frog crochet dress pattern and made some only little changes in making this dress.
I am also very happy because for the first time, i made an EYEGLASSES! Yes, it was a first time for me! I used the flower wire, not sure if that's what its called hihihi. It is a very thin wire so its easier to formed the shapes of the eyeglasses. Then i used a Lace Yarn ( Mercerized 3 ply yarn) and roll it to the wire and added fabric glue each time. Then, i sew the glasses into the dolls face too!
And there you have it! It was worth the time! And enjoyed making this doll.
What do you think of her? Do you like her look too? Did i do good with the details?
Love,
