La verdad que la cocina es el lugar de la casa donde pasamos el mayor tiempo del día, y en el cual le dedico mucha atención tanto en el orden como en la decoración, además por el hecho que me encanta la repostería, aficionada desde hace mucho tiempo, también en la elaboración de platos que se salen de la rutina.
Cuando leí lo del concurso, pensé en varias alternativas que podía realizar, ya que pensando que se acercan las navidades es el momento ideal para colocar nuevas cosas en el hogar y adornar aprovechando las festividades, más aún cuando tenemos expectativas de visitas muy queridas.
Pero también, pensando en los posibles regalos a realizar en le fecha decembrina, se me vino a la mente el regalo que le podría realizar a una amiga, la cual cuando visito en su casa siempre me invita a tomar el té, pero como ella es una amante de los tés rojos como el de la flor de Jamaica, entonces decidí que realizaría un paño secador de cocina con la palabra TE, y además le colocaría la palabra en letras color rojo, haciendo alusión al color del té que le gusta a mi amiga y, de esa manera personalizo más el regalo que le voy a realizar, es más cuando lo terminé casi se parecía a mi amiga, jajaja.
Les indicare los materiales que necesite para su realización y seguidamente el tutorial para su elaboración; buscando modelos en red para realizar este paño, me decide por el modelo que les voy a enseñar, porque en realidad hay muchos modelos muy lindos.

Procedimiento
Lo primero que vamos a hacer es realizar el diseño con sus medidas del modelo a realizar, plasmándolo en una hoja de papel y para ellos utilizamos un lápiz de grafito para mayor comodidad por si necesitamos rectificar alguna medida, las medidas están indicadas en el dibujo; el modelo que me gusto es uno que tiene en la parte de arriba en forma de tabla de cortar aliños, lo cual me pareció perfecto para la cocina.
Una vez realizado el diseño y recortado se procede a cortarlo en tela ya que son dos piezas, porque entre ellas se le coloca una guata delgada para darle mejor forma, y también se corta la tolla a la medida deseada, en ese caso la parte de la tolla tiene unas medidas de 60 cm de largo por 38 cm de ancho; también se cortaron unas tiras en tela roja que tiene unas medidas de 70 cm de largo por 6 cm de ancho y la de tela de navidad de 70 cm de largo por 11 cm de ancho, estas tiras son para adornar la parte inferior del paño secador de cocina.
A ambas tiras le vamos a realizar un ruedito lo más pequeño que podamos, también le vamos a doblar por ambos extremos igual, asimismo le realizamos un dobladillo a la piececita de tolla por los dos lados largos y por uno de los cortos ya que el otro lado corto es el que se va a unir a la pieza que cortamos en tela de navidad.
Con la parte de arriba cortada se procede a cortar la guata colocando la pieza sobre la guata y recortar por todo el alrededor; colocamos la guata entre las dos piezas y pasamos una costura por el contorno superior para cuando se le coloque el sesgo no se descuadren las piezas, la parte inferior no se cose porque por allí a ambas piezas se le coloca sesgo para luego introducir por ese espacio la toalla y fijarla.
Luego procedí a tejer las letras con el hilo rojo, el tejido fue realizado a crochet; para la letra T empecé el tejido con 4 cadenetas realizando 24 vueltas a puntos bajos y la parte superior la realice alargando los lados con 8 cadenetas y le realice hasta 3 vueltas en punto bajo.
Para realizar la letra E, inicie en la parte baja montando 15 cadenetas, cada parte alargada de la E tiene hasta 3 vueltas más las cadenetas de inicio, la separación entre las partes alargadas de la E es de 8 vueltas, es decir para realizar las dos letras utilice las mismas técnicas de tejido a crochet; posteriormente cosí las letras a la toalla en la parte superior.
Seguidamente pegué sesgo en la parte inferior de la pieza, como dije anteriormente, para luego fijar la toalla.
A continuación, ruchamos las dos tiras que nos quede del ancho de la tolla, unimos esas dos piezas ruchadas y le pegamos sesgo por la parte ruchada y, consecutivamente las pegamos a la toalla en la parte inferior.
Le realizamos un ojal a la parte superior, o parte angosta de la parte de tela y seguidamente se le coloca un botón de tal manera que quede holgado en el sitio donde se va a guindar o colocar, en todo caso imaginárselo como es mi caso, que ahora lo que me queda es colocarlo en una bolsita de regalo, porque ya ese pañito secador de cocina tiene dueña.

The first thing we are going to do is to make the design with your measurements of the model to be made, capturing it on a sheet of paper and for them we use a graphite pencil for convenience if we need to rectify any measure, the measures are indicated in the drawing, the model that I liked is one that has at the top in the form of cutting board dressings, which I thought was perfect for the kitchen.
Once the design is made and cut out, we proceed to cut it in fabric since they are two pieces, because between them is placed a thin wadding to give it a better shape, and also cut the towel to the desired size, in that case the part of the towel measures 60 cm long by 38 cm wide; We also cut some strips in red fabric that measures 70 cm long by 6 cm wide and the Christmas fabric of 70 cm long by 11 cm wide, these strips are to decorate the bottom of the kitchen towel dryer.

Then I proceeded to knit the letters with the red thread, the knitting was done by crochet; for the letter T I started the knitting with 4 chain stitches making 24 rows in single crochet and the upper part I made it lengthening the sides with 8 chain stitches and I made up to 3 rows in single crochet.
To make the letter E, I started in the lower part mounting 15 chains, each elongated part of the E has up to 3 rows plus the starting chains, the separation between the elongated parts of the E is 8 rows, that is to say to make the two letters I used the same crochet knitting techniques; then I sewed the letters to the towel in the upper part.
