Continuous practice makes perfect. I'm excited at how I'm getting better in my crocheting journey. What seemed difficult for me in the beginning is now becoming so easy, that I'm becoming creative at it. I mean, when I want to crotchet, I get lot of ideas on how to go about it. Also, watching of YouTube videos have been of great help to me.
I also appreciate you all for your kind words - they're encouraging, too.
So, let's look at the steps I took in crocheting a cup.
Initially, I was crotcheting a gown but I made a little mistake and I didn't have the strength to loosen it again as I had gone a really long way. I'm hoping to get back on that gown, though.
So, I decided to make something else and that was how this inspiration came about.
So, I first made the round part as the bottom of the cup. I achieved that by turning the first line over and connecting them together, then, I started adding more yarns to make it bigger.
After that, I tightened it and proceeded to using another yarn. I thought a wine colour would go. Then, I tied it to the already round crotchet and started working on it, making sure to get a curve. After that, I worked going round and round till I was able to achieve it.
Then, here's what the side looks like.
And, the bottom.
After that, I proceeded to adding the place we can hold it from - the hand, as we call it here.
Then, I completed it and joined it together. And, here's the final outcome.
So, tell me. What drink would you love to have with this? 😅
What's your thought? I'll like to read from you and know if there are areas I need to work on.
Thank you so much for reading through.
