Greetings beautiful Hive community, here with you again. Today with this beautiful hand embroidered Christmas rug with cross stitch. Very simple to make. It took me a few days to finish it, but I will show you below how I did it and what I needed.
Mide de largo 47 centímetros y 26 de ancho. Ideal para decorar un espacio de la casa o una mesa en estos días de navidad.

Materiales:
Tela de bordar punto de cruz
Tambor para bordar
Madejas de colores verde y rojo
Hilo de tejer blanco
Tijeras y agujas

Procedimiento:
Primero corté este rectángulo dejando un centímetro para hacer las orillas de 47 x 26 centímetros. Luego con hilo de tejer y una aguja punta roma hice un punto festón por toda la orilla para evitar se deshilache.
Procedure:
First I cut this rectangle leaving one centimeter to make the 47 x 26 centimeter borders. Then with knitting yarn and a blunt needle I made a scalloped stitch all around the edge to avoid fraying.
Después de esto elegí un diseño sencillo frutales con los colores rojo oscuro y otro más claro, y verde. Inicié en cada orilla a bordar a mano con punto de cruz, primero la parte verde de las hojas y tallos y luego las frutas.
After this I chose a simple fruit design with the colors dark red and a lighter one, and green. I started on each border to embroider by hand with cross stitch, first the green part of the leaves and stems and then the fruits.
A cada esquina le fui bordando el mismo diseño, cuidando que quedaran iguales en la ubicación. Para esto me guiaba contando los cuadritos de la tela.
I embroidered the same design on each corner, making sure that they were the same in their placement. For this I was guided by counting the squares of the fabric.
Luego que tengo todas las esquinas con el mismo diseño, le hice una recta roja por todo el alrededor y una verde, separadas por dos cuadros entre ellas.
After I got all the corners with the same design, I made a red line all around and a green line, separated by two squares between them.
Ahora te muestro como quedó mi trabajo de bordado a mano.
