El día de hoy les enseñaré a elaborar un hermoso cárdigan (suéter o chaqueta) el cual combine con un lindo enterizo. Este tipo de prenda se puede usar de manera casual como lo hice yo, realizándolo en un color verde muy alegre, pero también lo podemos elaborar de color negro o blanco para que se vea más elegante.

Today I will show you how to I will show you how to make a beautiful cardigan (sweater or jacket) to combine with a nice jumpsuit. This type of garment can be used casually as I did, making it in a very cheerful green color, but we can also make it in black or white to make it look more elegant.
- 1.50 metros de tela de algodón.
- Hilo.
- Alfileres.
- Cinta métrica.
- Tijeras.
- Agujas.
- Moldes.
- 1.50 meters of cotton fabric.
- Thread.
- Pins.
- Tape measure.
- Scissors.
- Needles.
- Molds.
Como primer paso vamos a elaborar los moldes.
As a first step we are going to elaborate the molds.
Cuando tengamos listos los patrones vamos a colocar nuestra tela en una superficie plana, doblamos y colocamos el molde delantero arriba de ella y recortamos al ras del molde. Repetimos el proceso para que nos queden cuatro piezas delanteras. (Para este tipo de prenda recomiendo usar un tipo de tela de algodón grueso).
When we have the patterns ready we are going to place our fabric on a flat surface, fold and place the front mold on top of it and cut flush with the mold. Repeat the process so that we have four front pieces (For this type of garment I recommend using a thick cotton fabric).
Luego colocamos sobre la tela doblada el patrón de la espalda o posterior (a doblez de tela). Nos debe de quedar una pieza. Luego volvemos a doblar la tela para las mangas. También respetando el doblez de tela. Nos debe de quedar dos piezas.
Then we place on the folded fabric the pattern of the back or back (a fold of fabric). We should have one piece left. Then we fold the fabric again for the sleeves. Also respecting the fold of fabric. We should have two pieces left.
Luego vamos a recortar un rectángulo de 4 cm de ancho, lo cosemos arriba del escote posterior (cuello de la espalda). Luego lo doblamos dos veces y pasamos costura de nuevo y así nos debe de quedar.
Then we are going to cut a rectangle of 4 cm wide, we sew it above the back neckline (back neck). Then we fold it twice and sew it again and that's how it should look like.
Tomamos las piezas delanteras, dos de cada lado. Dejando derecho con derecho vamos a coser por la curva lateral.
We take the front pieces, two on each side. Leaving right sides together we sew along the side curve.
Luego abrimos una de las piezas que acabamos de coser y le colocamos la parte del hombro de la pieza de la espalda y luego le colocamos la otra parte de la pieza delantera de manera que quede la pieza de la espalda en el medio.
Colocamos unos alfileres y cosemos. Repetimos el proceso en el otro lado.
Then we open one of the pieces we just sewed and place the shoulder part of the back piece on it and then we place the other part of the front piece on it so that the back piece is in the middle.
We place some pins and sew. Repeat the process on the other side.
Volteamos hacia el lado derecho, cosemos por el contorno circular de la pieza.
Turn to the right side, sew along the circular outline of the piece.
Luego la abrimos por el lado de los hombros y colocamos las mangas a cada lado y cosemos a la sisa del cárdigan.
Then we open it on the side of the shoulders and place the sleeves on each side and sew to the armhole of the cardigan.
De la parte de la espalda vamos a marcar dos centímetros, allí vamos a colocar el lateral de la pieza delantera y cosemos los dos centímetros sobrantes. Esto lo realizamos para ambos lados.
From the back we will mark two centimeters, there we will place the side of the front piece and sew the remaining two centimeters. We do this for both sides. We are going to sew the whole side including the sleeves.
Luego vamos a coser por todo el lateral incluyendo las mangas.
Then we are going to sew all around the side including the sleeves.
Por último cosemos por todo alrededor de las mangas o los puños de la mangas.
Finally we sew all around the sleeves or sleeve cuffs.
Y listo, tendremos este hermoso cárdigan o suéter.
