Hola a toda la linda comunidad de NeedleWorkMonday espero tengan un muy buen fin de semana. En el blog de hoy elaboraré un short de dama y para ello no utilizaré un molde sino como lo he explicado anteriormente voy a clonarlo de otro short que ya tengo desde hace tiempo.
Hello to all the nice NeedleWorkMonday community, I hope you have a great weekend. In today's blog I will make a lady's short and for this I will not use a mold but as I explained before I will clone it from another short that I already have for some time.
Esta técnica es muy sencilla de implementar y el resultado queda muy bien elaborado. Además lleva pocos materiales y podemos usar retazos de tela si vamos a hacer un short pequeño.
Sin más, comencemos.
This technique is very easy to implement and the result is very well elaborated. In addition, it takes few materials and we can use scraps of fabric if we are going to make a small short.
Without further ado, let's get started.
- Tela de algodón.
- Short que usaremos como molde.
- Elástico de 3 cm ancho.
- Tijeras.
- Alfileres.
- Hilo.
- Cotton fabric.
- Short that we will use as a mold.
- Elastic 3 cm wide.
- Scissors.
- Pins.
- Thread.
Como primer paso doblamos la tela con la que vamos a elaborar nuestro nuevo short y la colocamos de revés por el lado de mayor elasticidad de la misma, luego colocamos el short doblado por la parte delantera y marcamos.
As a first step we fold the fabric with which we are going to make our new shorts and place it inside out on the side with the greatest elasticity, then we place the folded shorts on the front side and mark.
Realizamos el mismo procedimiento pero doblando el short a la mitad por la parte trasera.
We perform the same procedure but folding the shorts in half at the back.
Vamos a cortar dos partes delanteras y dos partes traseras.
We will cut two front parts and two rear parts.
Como tercer paso vamos a pasar costura en las partes delanteras para unirlas y que nos quede de esta manera. Igualmente con las otras dos piezas de la parte trasera.
As a third step, we are going to sew the front parts to join them together and make it look like this. The same with the other two pieces of the back part.
Luego cosemos la parte de los lados y la parte de la entrepierna.
Then we sew the side part and the crotch part.
Con un retazo de tela hacemos la cintura, la medimos de 6 cm de ancho que es del doble de lo que mide el elástico a usar.
With a piece of fabric we make the waistband, we measure it 6 cm wide, which is twice the width of the elastic to be used.
Doblamos la tela de la cintura y la sostenemos dentro del elástico y cosemos, la medida de la cintura depende de la talla, en este caso la cintura mide 70 cm que es la medida de una talla de short "S" o pequeña. Pasamos costura sobre la tela de la cintura con un ancho del pie de la máquina, estirando un cm el elástico al coser
Fold the waistband fabric and hold it inside the elastic and sew, the waist measurement depends on the size, in this case the waist measures 70 cm which is the measurement of a size "S" or small shorts. We sew over the waistband fabric with a width of the machine foot, stretching the elastic one centimeter when sewing.
Luego cerramos la cintura y procedemos a unir cintura con el short colocándole revés con revés y dividiendo en 4 partes iguales la cintura con el short, pasamos costura en este caso con zig zag de 3 cm de ancho (también se puede pasar la oberlock).
Then we close the waistband and proceed to join the waistband with the shorts, placing back to back and dividing the waistband with the shorts in 4 equal parts, we sew a 3 cm wide zig zag seam (you can also use the oberlock).
Por último vamos a pasar costura de dobladillo de la pierna con el ancho deseado en este caso le pase costura de 2 cm. Adicionalmente podemos decorar con un pequeño lazo elaborado con la misma tela, esto es opcional dependiendo del gusto de la persona.
Con esto tendremos listo nuestro short.
Finally we are going to sew the hem of the leg with the desired width, in this case we will sew a 2 cm seam. Additionally we can decorate with a small bow made with the same fabric, this is optional depending on the taste of the person.
With this we will have our shorts ready.
Espero les haya gustado esta simple pero efectiva técnica para clonar una prenda. Esto lo podemos hacer con diferentes prendas, generalmente yo lo utilizo para hacer pijamas como lo he indicado anteriormente.
