Eso quiere decir que ya estoy muchísimo mejor, aunque pude notar que en mi recorrido hasta el sitio, sentí algo de cansancio. Cuando llegamos, antes de entrar todos nos colocamos el tapaboca, para minimizar cualquier riesgo de contagio, fue un acuerdo familiar en respeto y muestra de amor hacia los demás.

Cambiando de tema hoy quiero presentarle una prenda muy particular, se trata de un bustier, es una prenda que tiene como función principal mantener firme o levantando el busto, también se ajusta hasta la cintura. Es importante señalar que muchas mujeres lo usan como prenda interior, pero también se puede usar en el caso de las jovencitas como un top bustier, es decir, como una prenda de vestir, siempre y cuando se confeccione con las telas apropiadas para tal fin.

Cabe destacar que esta prenda que le presento a continuación es obra de mi hermosa y amada hija Jeraldine, actualmente ya tiene sus 18 años, pero desde los 14 empezó por su propia cuenta y con algo de mi ayuda hacer algunas de sus prendas de vestir. Creo que tiene mucha madera para esto.

Como pueden ver sacó su propio patrón y lo ajustó a sus medidas y necesidades, por lo general cuando hacemos algo por primera vez, quizás nos toca descoser y volver a coser. Eso le pasó a ella, pero no se dio por vencida y para decir verdad le quedó muy bonito desde mi punto de vista.

As you can see she made her own pattern and adjusted it to her measurements and needs, usually when we make something for the first time, maybe we have to unpick and sew again. That happened to her, but she didn't give up and to tell the truth it was very nice from my point of view.

Ella usó una tela gruesa roja debajo y utilizó en la parte superior una tela negra de encaje que había comprado hace un tiempo y tenía guardada.

Para la parte de atrás en vez de colocar un cierre lo puso tipo corset, como se muestra en la imagen.

La combinación de los colores quedó perfecta, y viendo la prenda puesta en ella puedo concluir que hizo un excelente trabajo, le quedó bien ajustado y los tiros en la medida apropiada.

No les puedo mentir, somos el dúo de las costuras, pero en este caso en particular solo estoy haciendo este escrito, donde debo expresar lo orgullosa que me siento por todo ese talento que tiene mi hija y también esa tenacidad que le inyecta a la hora de hacer o lograr algún objetivo.

Cuando la vi diseñando esto con la ayuda de un patrón que encontró por youtube sentí algo de curiosidad, pero esta vez me dijo: "estoy haciendo algo, cuando lo termine te lo muestro", por eso fui respetuosa de su deseo y esperé hasta que ella me lo mostrará.

When I saw her designing this with the help of a pattern she found on youtube I was a little curious, but this time she told me: "I am making something, when I finish it I will show it to you", so I was respectful of her wish and waited until she will show it to me.

Como siempre Jeraldine es muy exigente con lo que hace, y cuando algo no le gusta simplemente lo dice y lo vuelve a intentar, en esta caso quedó contenta con el resultado. Y ustedes ¿qué opinan?.
