Goodmorning lovers of needle work. So it's always a fulfillment whenever I do a project and complete it. I find it beautiful to my satisfaction
So I saw this sweet coaster that @Abenad did in one of her project and So I decided to try it out. She use hers for humidifier but I will be using mine as a tea cup mug.
These are the materials i used.
Milky coloured wool
Green wool
Pink wool
Knitting pin
So I start with a magic ring and I made 8 double crochect inside the magic ring,
Then I move to the second row, I did two double crochect in each of the first stitch. I did this till I finish the second row.
The third row I made an extra 8 stitch to make it 24 half double crochet, I made two stitch and two halve double crochet till the end of the third row.
In the fourth row I made two halve double crochet and half double crochet in the single stitche i made an additional 8 to the 24 half double crochet to make it 32
I made sure that in each row I make an increase of 8. So that if the first row is 8, the second is 16, the third is 24 and the third is 32 and its move like that continuously till I was done with the milky colour.
I moved to the tulips of which I made mistake because I did not read well though my mistake was seen not to be a mistake but a beautiful tulips came out.
I made the sepals by using the green wool to make double crochet, a chain and a double crochet in the same stitch, I skiped one stitche and then make another double crochet, a chain and a double crochet again, I did that till the end of the row.
For the petals i did 4 double crochet in the space I created from the green wool, after that I went to the next whole and did the same 4 double crochet each, I did that till I was done with the petals.
Thanks at for the inspiration I hope to get more inspirations from your works.
Lovely day to you all.
