Amigurumi #123: Ladybug, entre dificultades y detalles / Ladybug, between difficulties and details

La publicación pasada tuvo muy buena aceptación, por eso decidí contarles de algunas dificultades que tuve al diseñar a este personaje, aunque no parezca si tuve que destejer ciertas partes. Veamos cómo fue esto.

The last publication was very well received, so I decided to tell you about some of the difficulties I had when designing this character, even if it doesn't look like I had to unweave certain parts. Let's see how it went.

Si bien en cuanto a películas me encanta el género animado, no pasa lo mismo si se trata de series...Parece como si todas las películas pasaran un "filtro" en cuanto al mensaje que transmiten, ¿quizá porque generalmente también van los padres al cine?.

Para Ladybug y al tratarse de una serie nueva para mí, vi escenas de algunos capítulos. Esto lo hago para captar parte de la esencia del personaje y su entorno. Por ello, si bien en un inicio tuve planeado tejer el antifaz aparte, luego de conocer más al personaje decidí tejerlo como parte de la cabeza para que de la apariencia como si estuviese pegado al cuerpo.

While I love the animated genre when it comes to films, the same is not true when it comes to series... It seems as if all films pass through a "filter" in terms of the message they convey, perhaps because parents usually go to the cinema as well?.

For Ladybug, as this is a new series for me, I watched scenes from a few episodes. I do this to capture part of the essence of the character and her environment. So, although at the beginning I had planned to knit the mask separately, after getting to know the character better I decided to knit it as part of the head so that it would look as if it were attached to the body.

El insecto al cual representa Ladybug es uno de mis favoritos, lo conozco desde la infancia y hace unos años estudié su comportamiento como controlador biológico...Todo esto para decirles que las "manchitas" que lleva son muy importantes (al menos para mí) tanto el tamaño, el número y la posición de las manchas.

Este amigurumi fue para una niña, por eso el cabello fue tejido y cosido a la cabeza. Al inicio quise tejerlo mechón por mechón por separado, lo complicado aquí sería el peinado de "las dos colitas". La otra opción era tejerlo de manera sencilla aunque resaltando los mechones delanteros y las dos colitas. También le agregué el lazo con diseño de mariquita.

The insect that Ladybug represents is one of my favourites, I have known it since childhood and a few years ago I studied its behaviour as a biological controller... All this to tell you that the "spots" it carries are very important (at least for me) both the size, number and position of the spots.

This amigurumi was for a little girl, so the hair was woven and sewn to the head. At the beginning I wanted to weave it strand by strand separately, the complicated thing here would be the "two tails" hairstyle. The other option was to weave it in a simple way but highlighting the front locks and the two tails. I also added the bow with a ladybird design.

Last details
Una vez listo el personaje agregué parte de su entorno como el aparato electrónico que lleva en su cintura y Tikki. Ahora están listas para continuar con sus aventuras en algún lugar del mundo.

Once the character was ready I added part of her environment such as the electronic device on her waist and Tikki. Now they are ready to continue their adventures somewhere in the world.
