Amigurumi #151: Esferas navideñas, proceso creativo y viviendo alegrías / Christmas balls, creative process and living joys

Me encuentro regresando al planeta tierra como de costumbre, jaja...Recién me doy cuenta que estamos a un día de la Navidad y mis esferas llegaron a tiempo, al menos para mi arbolito. Este año tenía algunos planes con estas esferas (espero se cumplan en el 2023), la idea es que revivieron algunas y aquí están.

I find myself returning to planet earth as usual, haha... I just realised that we are one day away from Christmas and my spheres arrived on time, at least for my tree. This year I had some plans with these spheres (I hope they will be fulfilled in 2023), the idea is that I revived some of them and here they are.

"Reviving spheres project"

El patrón base de la esfera en sí me lo dio mi amigo Vlady, debido a que participé en el evento #bolitasotakus2022 el cual organizó. Participé con Shippo, mas adelante lo verán.

Partí con la idea de tejer un gatito con overol o jardinera. Luego me di cuenta que los ojos lo tenía muy arriba. Para mantener mi estilo se me ocurrió girar la esfera 180º. El overol quedó como gorrita, lo ojos quedaron a la altura correcta y solo quedaba adicionarle las orejitas.

The base pattern for the sphere itself was given to me by my friend Vlady, because I participated in the #bolitasotakus2022 event which he organised. I participated with Shippo, you will see it later.

I started with the idea of knitting a kitten in overalls. Then I realised that the eyes were too high up. To keep my style I thought of turning the sphere 180º. The overalls looked like a beanie, the eyes were at the right height and the only thing left to do was to add the little ears.

Con la experiencia anterior, decidí arriesgarme y personalizar una mascota. Esta vez se trató de un perrito chihuahua. Para la próxima tejeré colores enteros, porque el cambio de color distorsiona un poco la esfera, sobre todo si hay bastantes colores como este caso. Otra alternativa es incluir el bordado para los distintos colores.

With the previous experience, I decided to take a risk and personalise a pet. This time it was a chihuahua puppy. For the next one I will knit whole colours, because the change of colour distorts the sphere a bit, especially if there are many colours as in this case. Another alternative is to include embroidery for the different colours.

Este es el resultado de las esferas navideñas a crochet. Siento que a veces exagero cuando hago las cosas, bueno para mí eso es natural. Trato de crear algo muy poco visto y me alegra muchísimo saber que a la gente le agrade mi propuesta.

Sobre Shippo: Elegí este personaje porque me faltaba practicar este tipo de peinado (yo le digo peinado anime) con los flecos caídos y tapándole las cejas. Además de ser un zorrito muy lindo, jaja. Es del anime Inuyasha.

This is the result of the crochet Christmas ornaments. I feel that sometimes I exaggerate when I do things, but for me that's natural. I try to create something very unusual and I'm very happy to know that people like my proposal.

About Shippo: I chose this character because I needed to practice this kind of hairstyle (I call it an anime hairstyle) with the fringes falling down and covering his eyebrows. Besides being a cute little fox, haha. It's from the anime Inuyasha.

Viviendo alegrías

"Living joyst"

Uno de los objetivos de Iniciarte.craft es llevar mensajes mediante los amigurumi a quienes en ese momento lo requieran. En esta ocasión los amigurumi viajaron para encontrarse y ser amigos de niños con discapacidad severa. Esto sucedió el pasado miércoles durante un compartir navideño.

One of the aims of Iniciarte.craft is to bring messages through amigurumi to those who need them at the time. On this occasion the amigurumi travelled to meet and be friends with severely disabled children. This happened last Wednesday during a Christmas sharing.

¡Y eso es todo!

Dato curioso: Me alegra un montón que cada vez se vaya consolidando Iniciarte como marca. Seguiré dándolo todo para que este proyecto crezca y tenga más más alcance. /  I'm really happy that Iniciarte is becoming more and more consolidated as a brand. I will continue to give my all so that this project grows and has a wider reach.
