¡Hola, espero te encuentres de maravilla!
Hi, I hope you are feeling great
Como sabrán, el mes pasado terminó el #amigurumay2023 y como la vez pasada me llevé varias enseñanzas. Una de ellas fué la temática "De un libro". Allí recordé que sí tengo un libro de tejido y eso me animó tejer a Patty.
As you may know, last month the #amigurumay2023 ended and like last time I took away several lessons. One of them was the theme "From a book". There I remembered that I do have a crocheting book and that encouraged me to make Patty.
The exciting thing about large dolls (10.3in) is the characteristic stitch patterns of their dresses. They are loose stitches and you progress very fast compared to the amigurumi technique. In addition, there are several stitches.
In people, hair, eyebrows and eyelashes are the same color, although the latter two are more intense. In amigurumi it is different for practical cases. In the left image I did it according to the theory and in the right image I added a black outline. The ideal would be to use a baby blue color more intense than the hair. In the end I embroidered it with black.
Técnica stamp crochet
This technique was created by Ana Celia Rosas from #Tejiendoperu. A few days ago she gave a "Master Class" where she taught us these hearts. The technique consists of stamping figures, letters, symbols that you want on knitted garments, bags, backpacks, necesers, etc. There is still so much to explore... Registration for this course closes tomorrow (in case you are interested in learning this technique).
I used this technique to Patty's bowl and for the handle I used the seed stitch. I'll keep practising this stitch because I love it, and I'll see if I can make a garment with my logo on it, haha.
¡Y eso es todo!
¡Hasta la próxima!
See you next time!.
