Amigurumi #189: Anise, ninfa del bosque || Anise, forest dryad by Lyralunedesigns

Lo terminé, lo teminé...

A simple vista, estas ninfas me parecieron personitas nativas del Amazonas, con sus plumas y arcos... O ¿solo yo pensaré así?. Cuando leí la historia de los personajes, entendí que eran ninfas del Bosque seco y verde. Con el tiempo conocí a la diseñadora y se hizo mi amiga. Quien, sigue creando criaturas habitantes de un mundo mágico.

Estos días estoy explorando nuevas formas de tejido y ver sus diseños de cerca, me acerca mas a lo que quiero para Khawamaru (antes Iniciarte). Con estas ninfas creo que termino de hacer los testeos (pronto habrá video por Youtube) para enfocarme en eso que me encanta: Redescubrir nuestra Cultura ancestral.

I finished it, I finished it!...
At first view, these nymphs seemed to me like little people native to the Amazon, with their feathers and bows...Or am I just imagining things?. When I read the story of the characters, I understood that they were nymphs from the dry, green forest. Later, I met the designer and she became my friend. She continues to create creatures that inhabit a magical world.

These days I am exploring new ways of weaving and seeing their designs up close brings me closer to what I want for Khawamaru (before Iniciarte). With these nymphs, I think I'm done with testing (there will be a video on YouTube soon) so I can focus on what I love: Rediscovering our ancestral culture.

Creo que Anise fue el muñeco que me tomó mas tiempo y lo hice en varias partes. El hilo anaranjado y el alambre fueron los personajes secundarios, jaja. Igual, estaba decidida a terminarlo y pronto.

I think Anise was the doll that took me the longest, and I made it in multiple parts. The orange yarn and the wire were the supporting characters, jaja. Anyway, I was determined to finish it, and soon.

La ventaja de dejar este muñeco a la espera, fue que con el tiempo conseguí hilos de colores similares al que usa la diseñadora. Eso me alegró aún mas. Y me dí cuenta que para el borde de la túnica, lleva una puntada distinta.

The advantage of leaving this doll on hold was that, over time, I managed to find yarns in colors similar to those used by the designer. That made me even more happy. And I realized that the edge of the tunic has a different stitch.

Cuando veo los muñecos tejidos, varios tienen unas cejas como tristes (al menos siento esa impresión). Nosé si sea por moda o porque los diseñadores y tejedores tienen algo dentro que lo expresan en sus muñecos y lo toman como parte de su estilo...Allá ellos.

A todo esto, mis cejas son como planas y creo que es porque gran parte del día ando tranquila, sonriendo y riendo (como todos, jaja). Es por eso que mis personajes tienen ese estilo de cejitas.

When I look at woven dolls, several of them have sad-looking eyebrows (at least that's the impression I get). I don't know if it's because it's fashionable or because designers and weavers have something inside them that they express in their dolls and take it as part of their style.

On top of all this, my eyebrows are kind of flat, and I think it's because I spend most of the day relaxed, smiling, and laughing (like everyone else, jaja).

La forma de hacer estos arcos me encantó. Está practico, solo tienes que tener a la mano: alambre (usé el Galvanizado), alicates, hilo marrón y plomo, y silicona u otro pegamento.

I loved the way these bows were made. It's practical, you just need to have the following on hand: wire (I used galvanized wire), pliers, brown thread and lead, and silicone or other glue.

Tejer un muñeco también es una forma de expresar nuestro arte. Desde elegir qué tejer, los materiales hasta la sesión de fotos y la entrega al dueño.
