¡Hola, espero te encuentres de maravilla!
Hi, I hope you are feeling great!
I'm there catching up with the time, jaja. I remember during pandemic, there were several amigurumi workshops and courses online. Most of them were from Latin America (social media showed me that).
At that time I took the Amigurumi Design with Marcelo (the Prince of Crochet). Now, I'm taking the opportunity and I signed up for Danidiro workshop. She is a designer from Peru (I think she is better known abroad), she is characterised by her love of nature through curious little animals and forest creatures. I invite you to visit her work, it will surely leave you speechless.
¡Hamuy!
Let's go!
In this workshop we are knitting Lucerito the elf. In this version, I thought of adding summer colors. For me these dates are summery with no snow... Someday my Christmas dinner will be ceviche, jaja.
Then, I thought about Lucerito's future owner and these colors came to my mind. I am of the idea that every amigurumi (in fact every action of the person) reflects how the person feels.
In this workshop, Daniela showed us many shortcuts based on her experience crocheting dolls. One of them is how to embroider the face, especially the expression of the eyes.
I usually consider my crocheting speed as fast. Although, with Lucerito I'm slower, jaja. I think it's because I'm incorporating new techniques.
¡Y eso es todo!
Nos vemos en la parte II
¡Hasta la próxima!
See you next time!.
| The workshop is virtual and Daniela explains very well. So you have an option if you want to continue learning about amigurumi.
