Tejido a crochet #21: Cartuchera en 2 dimensiones / 2-dimensional cartridge case

Hace años no tejía algo para mí. La semana pasada perdí un lapicero azul el cual lo utilizo para realizar cualquier apunte. Cada vez que escribía con otro lapicero me preguntaba ¿dónde podía estar aquel lapicero azul?... y me di cuenta que me faltaba una cartuchera donde colocar los lapiceros. Porque tengo otras cartucheras donde coloco los crochet, agujas, tijeras y otra donde coloco los alicates y alambres (jaja).

I haven't knitted something for myself for years. Last week I lost a blue pen which I use to make notes. Every time I wrote with another pen I wondered where that blue pen could be?... and I realised that I was missing a pencil case where I put my pens. Because I have other pencil cases where I put my crochet, needles, scissors and another one where I put my pliers and wire (haha).

Una cartuchera es un objeto de uso diario, por eso elegí tejerlo con un hilo ligero y de rápido secado como lo es el bambú. El crochet utilizado fue de 3mm de grosor debido a que el hilo es de 6 hebras. Esta cartuchera consta de 3 bloques (adelante, medio y atrás). Para los bloques I y III (adelante y atrás), tejí 44 cadenas y luego en las esquinas realicé aumentos en puntos bajos hasta tener el tamaño deseado.

A pencil case is an object of daily use, that's why I chose to knit it with a light and quick-drying yarn like bamboo. The crochet used was 3mm thick because the yarn is 6 strands. This pencil case consists of 3 blocks (front, middle and back). For blocks I and III (front and back), I knit 44 chains, and then in the corners I made increases in low stitches until I had the desired size.

Luego para formar el ancho, tejí solo por las hebras de atrás puntos bajos en cada punto. En la siguiente ronda cambié el color y cogí ambas hebras.

Then to form the width, I knitted only the back strand of each stitch in a single crochet. In the next round I changed the colour and picked up both strands.

Para el bloque II (intermedio) tejí disminuciones, para esto me guie de los puntos totales del borde del bloque I y en cada esquina realicé disminuciones. Utilicé estos colores para que sea como la boca del sapo. Para el bloque III, utilicé la técnica "tapestry", esto fue para que sea más visible y evite perderlo.

For block II (intermediate) I knitted decreases, for this I used the total stitches of the edge of block I and in each corner I made decreases. I used these colours to make it look like the frog's mouth. For block III, I used the "tapestry" technique, this was to make it more visible and avoid losing it.

Le tejí los ojos para que parezca un sapo. Tiene dos compartimentos, uno para los materiales de arte y el otro para los lapiceros. Esta vez le coloqué botones, la próxima llevará cierre.

I knitted the eyes to make it look like a frog. It has two compartments, one for art materials and the other for pens. This time I put buttons on it, next time it will have a zip.

Dato curioso: Esta fue la manera sencilla de tejer una cartuchera tipo 2 dimensiones. Estaba entre tejer una palta o este sapo / This was the simple way to knit a 2 dimensional pencil case. I was between knitting an avocado or this toad.
