Saludos querida comunidad hermosa, yo estoy muy feliz porque últimamente me han hecho encargos muy interesantes, como lo es en este caso una muela amigurumi, según tengo entendido la cliente se la dará a su hija que estudia odontología, lo cual me hizo sentir aun mas motivada para dar lo mejor de mí en este proyecto, la señora me envió dos imágenes referenciales, la primera tenia el cepillo dental y un lazo pero la muela solo tenía dos patas, entonces me envió otra referencia explicándome que deseaba que la muela tuviera cuatro patitas, también me pidió que en lugar de hilo blanco usara un amarillo claro, yo supongo que es porque el hilo blanco se ensucia con facilidad, así que cumplí con sus requerimientos y ella estaba muy contenta con el resultado 😊

Greetings, beautiful community! I'm so happy because I've recently received some very interesting orders, like this amigurumi tooth. As I understand it, the client will be giving it to her daughter who is studying dentistry, which made me even more motivated to do my best on this project. The lady sent me two reference images. The first one showed the tooth with a toothbrush and a ribbon, but it only had two legs. So she sent me another image explaining that she wanted the tooth to have four legs. She also asked me to use light yellow yarn instead of white. I suppose it's because white yarn gets dirty easily, so I followed her instructions and she was very happy with the result. 😊

Proceso / Process

Para hacer este amigurumi usé hilo acrílico y ganchillo de 1.25mm, comencé por la parte superior de la muela con 8 puntos bajos en un anillo, hice hileras de 8 aumentos hasta obtener 40 puntadas, luego hice aumentos dobles en las 4 esquinas, luego hice 3 aumentos en cada equina por tres hileras, esto con el objetivo de crear ese aspecto cuadrado y abultado de la muela, luego continué por 4 hileras sin aumentos, hice entonces 3 disminuciones en las esquinas por 3 hileras, luego continúe con 6 hileras sin aumentos, luego coloqué los ojos de plástico.

To make this amigurumi I used acrylic yarn and a 1.25mm crochet hook. I started at the top of the tooth with 8 single crochet stitches in a ring, made rows of 8 increases until I had 40 stitches, then made double increases at the 4 corners, then made 3 increases at each corner for three rows, this was to create that square and bulgy look of the tooth, then I continued for 4 rows without increases, then made 3 decreases at the corners for 3 rows, then continued with 6 rows without increases, then I placed the plastic eyes.

Luego de colocar los ojos continué creando los agujeros para las patas, para ello en cada esquina salté 9 puntadas e hice 7 cadenas, de ese modo obtuve 40 puntadas, hice 8 disminuciones por 4 hileras hasta cerrar, luego para las patas levanté 18 puntadas e hice 8 hileras, hice 6 disminuciones por dos hileras y rellené antes de cerrar.

After placing the eyes, I continued creating the holes for the legs. To do this, I skipped 9 stitches at each corner and made 7 chains, thus obtaining 40 stitches. I made 8 decreases for 4 rows until closing. Then, for the legs, I picked up 18 stitches and made 8 rows, made 6 decreases for two rows, and stuffed before closing.

Para el lazo con hilo rosado hice 18 cadenas de base, sobre estas fui desde el punto deslizado hasta el punto doble alto y de regreso dos veces, para que al unir ambos extremos pudiera formar el lazo. Para el cepillo solo hice dos óvalos de 12 puntadas, uno blanco y uno rosado, levanté las cerdas haciendo un bordado en relieve, uní ambas partes insertando alambre por dentro y forré el alambre con el mismo hilo para el mango del cepillo.

For the bow with pink yarn, I made 18 foundation chains. On these, I worked from a slip stitch to a double crochet and back again twice, so that when I joined both ends, I could form the bow. For the brush, I simply made two ovals of 12 stitches each, one white and one pink. I raised the bristles to create a raised embroidery effect, joined both parts by inserting wire inside, and wrapped the wire with the same yarn for the brush handle.
