Saludos querida comunidad el día de hoy deseo compartirles mi más reciente trabajo a crochet , se trata de un Girasol, este fue una comisión que hizo un cliente por mis redes sociales y aunque pensé que seria sencillo me tomó tiempo , la experiencia valió la pena y el estoy satisfecha con el resultado, e hoy mientras aún intentaba terminar el girasol me encontré con que mi amiga 
casualmente había publicado en su blog una hermosa pintura de girasoles, eso me motivó a continuar el trabajo y al fin terminarlo, espero les guste, acá les comparto un poco del proceso.

Greetings dear community, today I want to share with you my most recent crochet work, it is a Sunflower, this was a commission that a client made through my social networks and although I thought it would be simple it took me time, the experience was worth it and I am satisfied with the result, and today while I was still trying to finish the sunflower I found that my friend
Proceso/ Process
Para este girasol utilicé hilo acrílico y ganchillo # 4, una de las exigencias del cliente es que el girasol midiera al menos unos 15 cm de diámetro por lo cual a pesar de su tamaño grande sentí que podría hacerlo en unos dos días pero por seguridad le dije al cliente que me tomaría 3 o 4, las cosas no salieron del todo bien en el segundo día pero el primero fue bastante productivo, por lo que pude terminarlo después de tres día de jornada.
For this sunflower I used acrylic yarn and a # 4 crochet hook, one of the client's requirements is that the sunflower measure at least 15 cm in diameter, so despite its large size I felt that I could do it in about two days but for safety's sake I I told the client that I would take 3 or 4, things did not go well on the second day but the first one was quite productive, so I was able to finish it after three days of work.
Comencé con el centro marrón, para esto hice 8 puntos bajos en una anillo, hice tres rondas de 8 aumentos, luego una ronda sin aumentos , una ronda con 8 aumentos , una ronda sin aumentos y luego una ronda de 8 aumentos. Al obtener esos 48 puntos, hice 8 rondas de 6 aumentos hasta obtener 96 puntos, luego hice cuatro rondas sin aumentos.
I started with the brown center, for this I made 8 single crochets in a ring, I made three rounds of 8 increases, then one round without increases, one round with 8 increases, one round without increases and then one round of 8 increases. Getting those 48 points, I did 8 rounds of 6 increases until I got 96 stitches, then I did 4 rounds with no increases.
Para la parte posterior de color verde , hice el mismo procedimiento que la parte marrón solo hasta llegar a los 96 puntos, luego tomando solo el lado del frente hice 4 puntos bajos, 6 cadenas y 6 puntos bajos en estas cadenas, 4 puntos bajos, repetí hasta el final de la ronda. En la ronda siguiente hice las hojas tejiendo 2 puntos altos dobles , 2 puntos altos, 1 punto medio alto y 1 punto bajo, en la punta hice una cadena y un punto deslizado en el punto anterior y repetí el orden de los puntos pero al revés en cada hoja, para separar las hojas salté 3 puntos e hice 2 puntos deslizados. Luego de terminar la ronda de hojas retomé los lados de atrás de los puntos y realice otra fila de hojas pero alternando su posición.
For the green back part, I did the same procedure as the brown part only until I reached 96 stitches, then taking only the front side I made 4 single crochet, 6 chains and 6 single crochet in these chains, 4 single crochet, I repeated until the end of the round. In the next round I made the leaves by knitting 2 double crochet, 2 double crochet, 1 half double crochet and 1 single crochet, at the end I made a chain and a slip stitch in the previous stitch and I repeated the order of the stitches but in reverse on each sheet, to separate the sheets I skipped 3 stitches and made 2 slip stitches. After finishing the round of leaves I went back to the back sides of the stitches and made another row of leaves but alternating their position.
Los pétalos los hice y deshice completos tres veces hasta que encontré una forma que me agradara, porque al ser tan grande el número de pétalos influye dependiendo de la cantidad de puntos de la circunferencia, no quería que los pétalos lucieran delgados y abundantes pero tampoco quería aumentar el grosor del hilo porque quería pétalos delicados como los de un Girasoles de verdad, así que después de varios intentos lo logré. Para los pétalos tomando solo el lado de atrás de los puntos de la parte marrón hice 6 puntos deslizados, 14 cadenas y 14 puntos bajos en las cadenas, repetí hasta el final de la ronda, el la ronda siguiente hice las hojas en los puntos deslizados hice puntos deslizados y en las hojas hice 1 puntos bajo, 1 punto medio alto, 1 punto alto, 4 puntos dobles altos, 2 puntos altos, 2 puntos medios altos y 2 puntos bajos, en la puntos hice 1 cadena y 1 punto deslizados en el punto anterior y repetí el mismo orden de los puntos pero al revés.
I made and unmade the petals completely three times until I found a shape that I liked, because being so large the number of petals influences depending on the number of points on the circumference, I did not want the petals to look thin and abundant but I did not want increase the thickness of the thread because I wanted delicate petals like those of a real Sunflower, so after several attempts I succeeded. For the petals taking only the back side of the stitches of the brown part I made 6 slip stitches, 14 chains and 14 single crochets in the chains, I repeated until the end of the round, the next round I made the leaves in the slip stitches I made slip stitches and in the leaves I made 1 single crochet, 1 half double crochet, 1 double crochet, 4 double double crochet, 2 double crochet, 2 half double crochet and 2 single crochet, in the stitches I made 1 chain and 1 slip stitch in the previous point and I repeated the same order of the points but in reverse.
Luego de terminar la primera fila de hojas uní la parte de adelante con la parte de atrás de la flor haciendo otra fila de hojas pero alternando su posición, rellené con fibra altera de hacer la ronda.
After finishing the first row of leaves I joined the front part with the back of the flower making another row of leaves but alternating their position, I filled with alter fiber to make the round.
Con tiza pastel color naranja pinte la parte baja de cada pétalo del girasol.
With orange pastel chalk paint the lower part of each petal of the sunflower.
Para el tallo hice 6 puntos bajos en un anillo e hice 70 rondas de puntos bajos, esto depende el tamaño que uno quiera el tallo, yo introduje dos palillos de altura y además alambre dentro del tallo que atravesara la flor por dentro, cerré con una costura.
For the stem I made 6 single crochets in a ring and I made 70 rounds of single crochets, this depends on the size that one wants the stem, I introduced two height toothpicks and also wire inside the stem that went through the flower inside, I closed with a sewing.
La hojas las hice con 15 cadenas ,hice sobre estas 1 aumento de puntos altos, 13 puntos altos, 1 aumento y repetí. En la siguiente ronda hice 2 aumentos, 2 puntos altos, 7 puntos dobles altos, 2 puntos altos, 2 puntos medios altos y dos puntos bajos, para la punta hice cadena y punto deslizado en punto anterior, repetí los mismos puntos pero en orden inverso hasta el final de la ronda. Hice dos hojas iguales y las cosí al tallo.
I made the leaves with 15 chains, I made 1 double crochet increase on these, 13 double crochet, 1 increase and repeated. In the next round I made 2 increases, 2 double crochet, 7 double crochet, 2 double crochet, 2 half double crochet and 2 single crochet, for the end I chained and slipped stitch in the previous stitch, I repeated the same stitches but in reverse order until the end of the round. I made two identical leaves and sewed them to the stem.
Resultado / Result
A veces lo proyectos aparentemente sencillos pueden traer nuevos retos, cuando una figura es simple entonces hay menos margen de error, porque si se calcula mal la proporción es muy notable, eso fue el motivo por el cual intenté varias formas de hacer los pétalos hasta que encontré una que fuera más acorde al tamaño del girasol y el número de pétalos según el tamaño de la circunferencia, por lo tanto aunque no hay cosas perfectas en el mundo, estoy satisfecha con el girasol que hice porque es primera vez que hago uno.
Sometimes apparently simple projects can bring new challenges, when a figure is simple then there is less margin for error, because if the proportion is miscalculated it is very remarkable, that was the reason why I tried various ways of making the petals until I I found one that was more in line with the size of the sunflower and the number of petals according to the size of the circumference, so although there are no perfect things in the world, I am satisfied with the sunflower I made because it is the first time I have made one.
