Saludos querida comunidad, hoy les comparto un proyecto que hice a pedido de una cliente que llegó por Instagram, ella me envió como referencia un video de Tik Tok de la usuario Kaylah Craft Store, se trata de una manga para libros hecha a crochet, ella me envió la medidas que deseaba que tuviera el proyecto, por mi parte solo con mirar las imágenes deduje el procedimiento y el tipo de puntada a utilizar, la cual es una trenza a crochet.

Usé doble hebra de hilo acrílico de 1mm para crochet, trabajé con ganchillo de 3mm, comencé haciendo 39 cadenas de base, trabajé con puntos bajos, hice aumentos en las esquinas , es decir 4 aumentos por tres hileras para obtener 22,5 cm de largo. Luego hice una hilera de puntos altos y una disminución para obtener el múltiplo correcto para hacer 4 trenzas del alto del frente y 3 trenzas del lado de atrás.

Trabaje 22 hileras con la puntada tipo trenza, luego continué trabajando solo la parte de atrás para hacer la tapa, hice 8 hileras y luego hice una disminución de cada lado por hilera hasta obtener solo 8 puntadas, , hice el ojal para el botón saltando las dos puntadas centrales y luego hice una hilera de puntos bajos. Luego con hilo negro hice los detalles haciendo puntos deslizados.

Para las estrellas trabajé con una hebra de hilo acrílico gris y ganchillo de 1.75mm. Hice tres estrellas y las cosí a la parte del frente con el mismo hilo. Luego cosí el botón, no sin antes meter un libro dentro para ubicar el botón en la posición adecuada al volumen del libro. El resultado me gustó mucho porque quedó lo más parecido posible a la imagen de referencia enviada por el cliente, quien además quedó muy satisfecha por el resultado 🥰 ¿te gustaría llevar tus libros así?

I used a double strand of 1mm acrylic yarn for crochet, I worked with a 3mm crochet hook, I started by making 39 basic chains, I worked with single crochets, I made increases in the corners, that is, 4 increases for three rows to obtain 22.5 cm long . Then I made a row of double crochets and a decrease to get the correct multiple to make 4 braids of the front height and 3 braids of the back side.

I worked 22 rows with the braid stitch, then I continued working only the back part to make the cover, I made 8 rows and then I made a decrease on each side per row until I only had 8 stitches, I made the buttonhole for the button by skipping the two center stitches and then I made a row of single crochets. Then with black thread I made the details using slip stitches.

For the stars I worked with a strand of gray acrylic yarn and 1.75mm crochet hook. I made three stars and sewed them to the front with the same thread. Then I sewed the button, but not before putting a book inside to place the button in the appropriate position for the volume of the book.
