Saludos querida comunidad, como les había contado en mi post anterior una prima me encargó hacer a sus padres versión amigurumi, ya les compartí el post del amigurumi de su mamá y en esta ocasión les comparto a su padre que es mi tío, realmente estoy muy contenta por haber finalizado esta comisión, pues últimamente me he visto muy afectada por los cortes del servicio eléctrico 5 horas diarias en diferentes horario, aunque la labor de las agujas no se hace con una máquina sino con las manos, la electricidad es muy necesaria, incluso si hay que buscar un referencia o también para tener registro del proceso es necesario tener los celulares con carga, también es necesario un espacio iluminado y dependiendo de la hora a veces es difícil encontrar un lugar de la casa donde haya luz natural porque debo cuidar mis ojos , también afecta que no me pueda quedar trabajando en la noche para recuperar las horas perdidas, pues si el apagón es nocturno no hay de otra, pero también debo aprovechar el tiempo de descanso y lamentablemente es una situación que escapa de las manos, por eso me pongo la mano en el corazón cuando les digo que cada amigurumi lo hago con mucho esfuerzo para que todo quede bien y a tiempo, por eso me llena de alegría cuando finalizo.

I've already shared the post of her mother's amigurumi, and this time I'm sharing her father's, who is my uncle. I'm truly happy to have finished this commission, as lately I've been greatly affected by the power outages—five hours a day at different times. Although knitting isn't done with a machine but by hand, electricity is essential. Even if you need to find a reference or keep track of the process, you need to have your cell phone charged. A well-lit space is also necessary, and depending on the time of day, it's sometimes difficult to find a place in the house with natural light because I have to protect my eyes. It also affects me that I can't stay up working at night to make up for lost hours, because if the power outage is at night, there's no other option. But I also need to make the most of my rest time, and unfortunately, this is a situation beyond my control. That's why I say with all my heart that I make each amigurumi by hand. I put a lot of effort into making sure everything is done right and on time, so it fills me with joy when I finish.

Para este amigurumi hice unas variaciones en las proporciones del anterior para que mi tío se viera mas alto que su esposa porque trabajé igualmente con ganchillo de 1.25mm, hice 6 cadenas de base para la suela de los zapatos, hice aumento en los extremos para crear un óvalo de 20, hice disminuciones en la punta y luego continué con la pierna de 16 puntadas por 12 hileras, luego uní la entrepierna por 2 cadenas y continué con el pantalón por 9 hileras, cambie al torso con el color piel porque al igual que el amigurumi pasado la camiseta se la hice aparte, los brazos los hice de 9 puntadas por 17 hileras y los uní a los lados del torso en hice las disminuciones para los hombros y el cuello que se extendía por 12 hileras, debo decir que entre tanto ajetreo no pude tomar fotografías del proceso de la cabeza, pero la hice empezando por el agujero de 12 puntadas por 12 hileras para introducir el cuello, luego 6 hileras de 6 aumentos para obtener un ancho de 18 e hice 12 hileras sin aumentos y luego 6 disminuciones por 7 hileras hasta cerrar, coloqué los ojos antes de cerrar.

For this amigurumi, I made some variations to the proportions of the previous one so that my uncle would look taller than his wife. I also worked with a 1.25mm crochet hook. I made 6 foundation chains for the sole of the shoes, increased at the ends to create a 20-stitch oval, decreased at the toe, and then continued with the leg, crocheting 16 stitches for 12 rows. Then I joined the crotch with 2 chains and continued with the pants for 9 rows. I switched to the skin-colored torso because, like the previous amigurumi, I made the shirt separately. I made the arms with 9 stitches for 17 rows and joined them to the sides of the torso. I made decreases for the shoulders and the neck, which extended for 12 rows. I must say that in all the hustle and bustle, I couldn't take pictures of the head process, but I made it starting with the hole of 12 stitches for 12 rows to insert the neck, then 6 rows of 6 stitches. I increased to get a width of 18 and made 12 rows without increases and then 6 decreases for 7 rows until closing, I placed the eyes before closing.

Después de hacerle los detalles al pantalón, hice aparte la camiseta con 18 cadenas en circulo para formar la base, luego 6 aumentos por 4 hileras la formar el canesú de 42 puntadas, luego hice los agujeros para las mangas y continué con el torso, para las mangas levanté 16 puntadas e hice 5 hileras, para el dibujo del frente usé la técnica de bordado a punto cruz. El reto de este amigurumi era hacer la gorra de beisbol porque nunca había hecho una, realmente me llenó de satisfacción poderla hacer, para la visera usé alambre floral en el borde para dar firmeza y me encantó el resultado.

After adding the details to the pants, I separately made the shirt. I started with 18 chains in a circle to form the base, then increased 6 stitches for 4 rows to form the 42-stitch yoke. Next, I made the armholes and continued with the torso. For the sleeves, I picked up 16 stitches and worked 5 rows. For the design on the front, I used cross-stitch. The challenge of this amigurumi was making the baseball cap because I had never made one before. It was truly satisfying to finally make it. For the visor, I used floral wire around the edge for added strength, and I loved the result.
