Saludos querida comunidad, les cuento que hace unos días atrás me contacto una persona interesada en un amigurumi, este me envió un video de TikTok cuyo usuario es Danielas.crafts, en este se mostraba una muñeca ramo de rosas como las que se han vuelto muy populares en redes en los últimos tiempos, sin embargo esta era una versión donde la muñeca vestía con el atuendo usado para una graduación, es decir, la toga, el birrete e incluso el diploma y la bufanda, no se si la idea es original de esa usuaria porque yo no uso TikTok pero a partir de allí me comenzaron a salir muchísimas imágenes con la misma idea en otras redes como Faceboook o Intagram, yo por mi parte me propuse a hacer el amigurumi a ojo observando los detalles, pues el cliente me dijo que la quería igual a esa, siento que en general cuando una figura se vuelve popular cada quien hace su propia versión cuando se la piden y por eso cuesta saber quién es la autora original de la idea, sin embargo, como yo no ni usé ningún patrón no puedo darles su respectivo crédito, pero supongo que para muchos sucede lo mismo en estos tiempo donde tantas figuras se vuelven virales, por otro lado me parece que la idea de la muñeca se puede hacer de muchas formas cambiando los detalles si así lo desean, yo estoy muy satisfecha con el resultado que obtuve y además muy feliz de haber cumplido este reto.

Greetings, dear community! I wanted to share that a few days ago, someone contacted me interested in an amigurumi. They sent me a TikTok video from the user Danielas.crafts, showing a rose bouquet doll, like the ones that have become so popular on social media lately. However, this version featured the doll dressed in graduation attire: the gown, cap, diploma, and scarf. I don't know if the idea originated with that user because I don't use TikTok, but from there, I started seeing tons of images with the same idea on other platforms like Facebook and Instagram. I decided to make the amigurumi by eye, observing the details, since the client told me they wanted it exactly like that one. I feel that, generally, when a figure becomes popular, everyone makes their own version when requested, which is why it's hard to know who the original creator is. However, since I didn't use any pattern, I can't give them proper credit, but I imagine that's the case for many people. Even in these times where so many figures go viral, on the other hand, I think that the idea of the doll can be done in many ways by changing the details if desired. I am very satisfied with the result I obtained and also very happy to have completed this challenge.

Proceso / Process

No encuentro otra manera de describir la experiencia del proceso que no sea con la palara “agotadora”, pues nunca había hecho un amigurumi tan grande (35cm), aunque las piezas pequeñas cuestan mucho mas trabajo pues generalmente incluyen mayor cantidad de puntadas debido a lo delgado del hilo y el ganchillo, elaborar un pieza grande aun cuando usé doble hebra y ganchillo de 2.5mm fue mucho ,más agotador, la razón es muy simple y es que mientras se va avanzando con el trabajo mayor peso va teniendo, por lo tanto las manos se ven obligadas a cargar con un peso cada vez mayor mientras más se van cansando. Comencé con la cabeza, luego el cuerpo y que se ve extendido por el mango para tomar el ramo, la manera que resolví hacerlo fue colocando por dentro un tubo de plástico, este material es firme pero además tiene poco peso. Luego a partir del cuerpo hice la parte de la falda en color negro.

I can't find any other way to describe the experience of the process than with the word "exhausting," as I had never made such a large amigurumi (35cm). Although small pieces are much more work because they generally require more stitches due to the thinness of the yarn and the crochet hook, making a large piece, even using double strands and a 2.5mm hook, was much more tiring. The reason is very simple: as you progress, the piece gains weight, so your hands are forced to carry an increasing amount as they tire. I started with the head, then the body, which extends into the handle for holding the bouquet. The way I solved this was by placing a plastic tube inside; this material is firm but also lightweight. Then, starting with the body, I made the skirt in black.

Luego con el hilo blanco forré la parte inferior del mango del ramo y desde allí comencé a hacer la parte que cubre el ramo que viene siendo como el lado de atrás de la falda de la muñeca, cuando terminé ese lado entonces retomé la falda con negro y uní ambas partes con puntos bajos y luego una hilera de puntadas tipo abanico. Hice una cinta con 100 cadenas y dos hileras de puntos altos y le agregué un borde amarillo de puntos deslizados, para luego anudar la cinta en forma de lazo.

Then, using white yarn, I covered the bottom of the bouquet handle and from there began working on the part that covers the bouquet, which is like the back of the doll's skirt. When I finished that side, I went back to the skirt with black yarn and joined both parts with single crochet stitches and then a row of fan stitches. I made a ribbon with 100 chains and two rows of double crochet stitches and added a yellow border of slip stitches, then tied the ribbon in a bow.

Luego hice los detalles de la cara, en las imágenes de referencia usaban ojos de seguridad, pero yo no disponía de ojos de ese gran tamaño por lo que decidí hacer igualmente a crochet, no me arrepiento de mi decisión porque me gustó mucho mas esa apariencia, luego hice los brazos y posteriormente el cabello, debo decir que el cabello es la parte donde puse más trabajo porque hice un total de 39 rizos, coser y pegar dichos rizos de forma ordenada en al cabeza es muy demandante pero el resultado es maravilloso.

Then I did the details of the face. In the reference images they used safety eyes, but I didn't have any eyes that large, so I decided to crochet them instead. I don't regret my decision because I liked that look much better. Then I did the arms and later the hair. I must say that the hair is the part where I put the most work because I made a total of 39 curls. Sewing and gluing those curls neatly onto the head is very demanding, but the result is wonderful.

Luego hice los detalles del diploma, la bufanda, las rosas de 18 pétalos cada una y por su puesto el birrete, este birrete debe ser bastante alto pues debido a la altura de las rosas este debe sobresalir un poco.

Then I made the details of the diploma, the scarf, the roses with 18 petals each and of course the mortarboard, this mortarboard must be quite tall because due to the height of the roses it must stand out a little.
