Good evening everyone.i hope you had a great time working.
For me my day was very hectic because I had a lot of sewing to do. These is the first time posting here.
So, yesterday I was wondering what will I wear to work today,I started complaining that I wish I had any spare clothes that I would have made use of it.
I entered my room and search my tailoring bag and I found this vintage material,I was so happy.
I was contemplating on the style because I just needed a simple outing gown.
So I came out with this.
I folded my material into four,I measured my body measurements
In every measurements I take
I add half or 1 inch for sewing allowance.
For me I took a very bigger allowance because I needed a free gown and long one.
I marked everything.
Yes,I made it connected to the hands at once,
I didn't want to put a different hands.
When I finished marking everything I made sure sure my calculations were correct.
Then I proceeded in cutting it out by following my chalk.
Wow!!see as I get shape.
It's just a simple gown,
I sat on my machine, paddle it and I joined it before 5 minutes I was already done.
Remember I needed a free gown.
I slant the down side
So sorry I didn't snap that cos I was in a hurry.
The down side had a slant which I later join gadas .
This is the final outcome,
Yes there was no zip
I took Canon neck in other To be able to have access to it without zip.
And I also made a robe out of it and used it to tie round it for more beautification
And guess what???I wore it these morning to work
I received a lot of compliments.
Thanks for reading my post😁
I'll be back tomorrow
I'm proud of who I am.
