Hello my lovely Hive community! I hope you're all doing well. I'm back again with a design I'm incredibly excited about. I've been working on Christmas-themed designs lately, and this one in particular filled me with so much joy. Seeing it finished made me even happier, so I wanted to share it with you all. I hope you like it and try it out at home to decorate your Christmas trees beautifully! 🎄 Let's get started with the materials and step-by-step instructions!

Aguja número 4 / Size 4 crochet hook ✨
Paso 1️⃣ / Step 1️⃣ 🎄❤️
Lo primero que haremos será tomar el hilo y hacer dos vueltas en nuestros dos dedos para hacer un aro pero que nos quede más grueso, (si ustedes tienen aros de plástico, madera, del que sea, ya listo, lo pueden hacer con eso 100%, la forma es más precisa) bueno, seguimos asegurando con una cadena y comenzamos a hacer puntos bajos pasando por el círculo, la cantidad de puntos tiene que ser en números pares, en este caso a mí me salieron 28 puntos bajos, cerramos en el primer punto con punto deslizado, cortamos la hebra y pasamos al siguiente color, tomamos el otro color y lo vamos a incorporar en el punto donde hicimos el cierre, escondemos de inmediato la hebra de la primera vuelta y la de esta vuelta, levantamos 2 cadenas que serán nuestro primer punto alto, en el mismo espacio haremos otro punto alto, ahora nos saltamos un punto y en el siguiente haremos 2 puntos altos nuevamente y así sucesivamente hasta llegar al final donde cerramos con punto deslizado en la segunda cadena del comienzo, también cortamos la hebra.
The first thing we'll do is take the yarn and make two loops around our two fingers to create a ring, but make it thicker. (If you have plastic or wooden rings, or any kind of rings, you can definitely use those; the shape is more precise.) Next, secure the loop with a chain stitch and begin making single crochet stitches through the loop. The number of stitches must be an even number; in this case, I made 28 single crochet stitches. Close the first stitch with a slip stitch, cut the yarn, and move on to the next color. Take the other color and add it to the stitch where you closed the loop. Immediately hide the ends of the first round and this round. Chain 2, which will be your first double crochet. In the same space, make another double crochet. Now skip one stitch and in the next stitch, make 2 double crochet stitches again, and so on until you reach the end, where you close with a slip stitch. The second chain from the beginning, we also cut the yarn.
Paso 2️⃣ / Step 2️⃣ 🎄❤️
Ahora hacemos el siguiente cambio de color el cual vamos a incorporar tal cual hicimos con el anterior, en el primer punto donde hicimos el cierre, levantamos 2 cadenas que serán un punto alto y en los siguientes 2 puntos haremos un punto alto sobre cada uno, ahora vamos a ubicar el punto que salgamos en la vuelta anterior y haremos un punto alto partiendo desde allí y volvemos a repetir la secuencia hasta llegar al final donde cerramos nuevamente con punto deslizado y cortamos la hebra.
Now we make the next color change, which we'll incorporate just like the previous one. In the first stitch where we made the join, we chain 2 (which will be a double crochet), and in the next 2 stitches, we'll make a double crochet in each one. Para el último cambio de color vamos a ingresar de nuevo y levantamos 2 cadenas en ese mismo espacio haremos 1 punto alto adicional, pasamos a los siguientes 2 puntos donde haremos 2 puntos altos sobre cada uno, ahora llegamos al medio dónde está el punto alto "largo" y cerramos con punto deslizado, volvemos a repetir la secuencia de 2 puntos altos sobre cada punto alto para un total de 6 puntos y cerramos con punto deslizado en el punto alto "largo" hasta llegar al final donde haremos un punto deslizado dónde se comenzó la vuelta, ahora vamos a levantar 20 cadenas para hacer el colgante del diseño, damos vuelta y aseguramos con punto deslizado del otro lado, ahora sí vamos a cortar y esconder las hebras.
For the final color change, we'll re-enter the stitches and chain 2. In that same space, we'll make 1 additional double crochet. We'll move to the next 2 stitches and make 2 double crochets in each stitch. Now we reach the middle where the "long" double crochet is and close with a slip stitch. We'll repeat the sequence of 2 double crochets in each stitch for a total of 6 stitches and close with a slip stitch in the "long" double crochet until we reach the end, where we'll make a slip stitch where the round began. Now we'll chain 20 to make the pendant of the design, turn, and secure with a slip stitch on the other side. Now we'll cut and weave in the ends.
Paso 4️⃣ / Step 4️⃣ 🎄❤️
Para el último paso haremos un lazo, este será de color blanco para que haga muy buen contraste con el rojo y verde, tomamos el hilo y hacemos un nudo ahora levantamos 40 cadenas (todo depende de qué tan grande quieras el lazo) amarramos los bordes y ahora ubicamos el punto alto "largo" que está justo abajo del colgante y vamos a pasar la aguja por ahí para poder traer el conjunto de cadenas que realizamos, ahora amarramos y medimos que queden muy bien y listo, así es como queda nuestra guirnalda en crochet para nuestro árbol de navidad 🎄❤️
For the last step, we'll make a bow. This will be white so it contrasts nicely with the red and green. Take the yarn and make a knot. Now, chain 40 (this depends on how big you want the bow). Tie off the ends, and now locate the long double crochet stitch just below the pendant. Pass the hook through the stitch to bring up the chain you just made. Tie it off and make sure it's secure. And that's it! This is how our crocheted garland for our Christmas tree looks 🎄❤️
