Hola mi gente linda de hive, espero se encuentren muy bien, todos estos días probablemente les estaré compartiendo solo post de llaveros, ya que, estoy elaborando algunos porque son mi regalo para unas personas muy especiales para mí, el día de hoy tocó el de una amiga y quise realizar un llavero con la inicial de su nombre, ya que, a su novio que es uno de mis mejores amigos, le haré uno del mismo color pero con la letra J, así que el día de hoy les compartiré el paso a paso de la M y pronto les comparto el de la J y otros que también estaré elaborando, sin más que decir, ¡Vamos con los materiales y el paso a paso!
Hello my lovely people of hive, I hope you're all doing well. These days I'll probably only be sharing posts about keychains, since I'm making some because they're my gifts for some very special people. Today it was a friend's gift, and I wanted to make a keychain with her initial. For her boyfriend, who's one of my best friends, I'm going to make one in the same color but with the letter J. So today I'll share the step-by-step instructions for the M, and soon I'll share the J instructions and others I'll also be making. Without further ado, let's get started with the materials and the step-by-step instructions!

Paso 1️⃣ / Step 1️⃣ 🩵✨
Lo primero que haremos será un nudo y seguidamente levantaremos 5 cadenas, ahora nos vamos a devolver desde la cadena cuatro hasta la primera con puntos bajos, es decir, nos saltaremos la cadena número 5, ahora levantamos una cadena, le damos vuelta al tejido y haremos un punto bajo sobre cada punto bajo, para un total de 4 puntos bajos en esa segunda vuelta, volvemos a levantar una cadena y repetimos la secuencia, haremos está misma secuencia hasta completar 8 vuelas de 4 puntos bajos cada una.
The first thing we'll do is a knot, then we'll pick up 5 chains. Now we'll return from chain four to the first with single crochets, that is, we'll skip chain number 5. Now we'll pick up a chain, turn the fabric, and make a single crochet over each single crochet, for a total of 4 single crochets on that second row. We'll pick up another chain and repeat the sequence. We'll do this same sequence until we complete 8 rows of 4 single crochets each.
Paso 2️⃣ / Step 2️⃣ 🩵✨
Ahora vamos a levantar 13 cadenas, y luego nos vamos a devolver hasta la primera cadena con punto bajo, ahora le damos vuelta a la primera parte donde hicimos las 8 vueltas y vamos a unir ambas piezas continuando con los 4 puntos bajos que corresponden, para un total de 16 puntos bajos, levantamos una cadena y ahora haremos un punto bajo, sobre cada punto bajo, en la tercera vuelta de ese paso volvemos a levantar una cadena y hacemos punto sobre punto, serian 3 vueltas de 16 puntos bajos en total.
Now we're going to chain 13, then we're going to return to the first chain with a single crochet. Now we turn over the first section where we made the 8 rows and we're going to join both pieces, continuing with the 4 corresponding single crochets. For a total of 16 single crochets, we're going to chain one and now we're going to make a single crochet over each single crochet. On the third row of that step, we're going to chain one again and make a single crochet over a single crochet. That's 3 rows of 16 single crochets in total.
Paso 3️⃣ / Step 3️⃣ 🩵✨
Levantamos una cadena, volteamos el tejido y ahora haremos 6 puntos bajos, llegando al séptimo punto bajo, haremos una disminucion la cual consiste en pasar el ganchillo por el séptimo punto, tomar hebra, no cerramos en punto si no que pasamos al octavo punto, metemos el ganchillo, traemos hebra, nos quedarían 3 aritos y ahí si procedemos a cerrar los 3 aritos lo cual se convertirá en un punto bajo, hacemos una cadena, volteamos el tejido y haremos punto sobre punto, es decir 7 puntos bajos, levantamos una cadena y en esta vuelta volvemos a hacer disminucion al final, para que nos queden un total de 6 puntos bajos, hacemos una cadena, y repetimos el punto bajo donde cada punto, vamos con la penúltima vuelta donde haremos la última disminucion, para cerrar con un total de 5 puntos bajos, subimos cadena y hacemos la última vuelta de un punto bajo sobre cada punto, así es como queda la primera "montañita" de nuestra M, hacemos una cadena, sacamos suficiente hebra y cortamos.
We lift a chain, turn the fabric and now we will make 6 single crochets, reaching the seventh single crochet, we will make a decrease which consists of passing the hook through the seventh stitch, taking yarn over, we do not cast off in stitch but rather we move on to the eighth stitch, insert the hook, bring yarn over, we would have 3 loops and then we proceed to close the 3 loops which will become a single crochet, we make a chain, turn the fabric and we will stitch over stitch, that is 7 single crochets, we lift a chain and in this round we decrease again at the end, so that we have a total of 6 single crochets, we make a chain, and we repeat the single crochet where each stitch, we go with the second to last round where we will make the last decrease, to close with a total of 5 single crochets, we go up the chain and make the last round of a single crochet over each stitch, this is how the first "mountain" of our M looks, we make a chain, we took out enough Yarn over and cut.
Paso 4️⃣ / Step 4️⃣ 🩵✨
Ahora vamos con la otra "montañita" de la M, vamos a ubicar el primer punto desde el otro extremo, metemos el ganchillo, sacamos hebra y hacemos una cadena en ese mismo punto haremos un punto bajo, igual en lo próximos 5 puntos bajos, en el séptimo y octavo punto hacemos disminucion y volvemos a repetir todo lo que hicimos en el paso 3, cuidando que los dos extremos siempre se vean iguales.
Now we move on to the other "little mountain" of the M. We'll place the first stitch from the other end. Insert the hook, remove the yarn, and make a chain. In that same stitch, we'll make a single crochet. Do the same for the next 5 single crochets. Decrease on the seventh and eighth stitches and repeat everything we did in step 3, making sure the two ends always look the same.
Paso 5️⃣ / Step 5️⃣ 🩵✨
Ahora vamos con la otra columna de 8 vueltas de 4 puntos, contaremos desde el extremo hasta el cuarto punto bajo, ahí meteremos el ganchillo, sacamos hebra, aseguramos con una cadena y en ese mismo espacio levantamos el primer punto bajo, en los siguientes 4 puntos haremos un punto por cada uno hasta llegar al final y levantamos una cadena, damos vuelta y volvemos a hacer punto sobre punto, con esto estaríamos repitiendo la secuencia del primer paso, 8 vueltas de 4 puntos bajos, al final hacemos una cadena, sacamos suficiente hebra y cortamos.
Now we move on to the other column of 8 rows of 4 stitches. We'll count from the end to the fourth single crochet. Insert the hook there, pull out the yarn, secure with a chain, and in that same space, lift the first single crochet. In the next 4 stitches, we'll make one stitch for each one until we reach the end and lift a chain. Turn and crochet again. This would be repeating the sequence from the first step: 8 rows of 4 single crochets. At the end, we make a chain, pull out enough yarn, and cut.
Paso 6️⃣ / Step 6️⃣ 🩵✨
Vamos ahora con el "pico bajo" de la M, en los puntos que hay sobre cada columna de 8 vueltas, debe de haber un total de 8 puntos bajos, nos vamos a ubicar en el primero metemos el ganchillo y traemos la hebra, aseguramos con una cadena y ahora vamos a hacer una disminucion, tal cual les expliqué en los pasos anteriores, ahora hacemos 4 puntos bajos y en los últimos dos puntos que nos quedan haremos nuevamente una disminucion, levantamos una cadena, volteamos el tejido y ahora haremos una disminucion, 2 puntos bajos y cerramos con otra disminucion, levantamos una cadena, damos vuelta, nos van a quedar 4 puntos bajos, así que haremos 2 disminuciones, levantamos una cadena y nos quedan 2 puntos bajos, dónde haremos la última disminucion, levantamos una cadena, sacamos suficiente hebra y cortamos.
Now we'll move on to the "low peak" of the M. In the stitches above each column of 8 rows, there should be a total of 8 single crochets. We'll place ourselves on the first one, insert the hook and bring the yarn over, secure with a chain, and now we'll decrease. Just as I explained in the previous steps, we'll now make 4 single crochets, and in the last two stitches we have left, we'll decrease again. We'll pick up a chain, turn the work, and now we'll decrease. We'll make 2 single crochets and close with another decrease. We'll pick up a chain, turn, and we'll have 4 single crochets left. So we'll make 2 decreases. We'll pick up a chain, and we'll have 2 single crochets left. Where we'll make the last decrease, we'll pick up a chain, pull out enough yarn, and cut.
Paso 7️⃣ / Step 7️⃣ 🩵✨
Teniendo la primera M, haremos la segunda y procedemos a unirlas, vamos a ubicar el primer punto de uno de los extremos entraremos con el ganchillo, traemos hilo y comenzaremos a hacer un punto bajo sobre cada punto, cuando nos quede la parte de arriba aún por cerrar vamos a proceder a meterle el relleno, luego terminamos de cerrar con puntos bajos, para culminar la vuelta haremos un punto deslizado en el primer punto que hicimos, levantamos una cadena, cortamos le hebra y la escondemos.
With the first M, we'll make the second and join them together. We'll place the first stitch on one end. We'll hook in, bring in the yarn, and begin making a single crochet over each stitch. When we have the top part still to cast off, we'll stuff it. Then we'll finish casting off with single crochets. To complete the row, we'll make a slip stitch in the first stitch we made, pick up a chain, cut the yarn, and tuck it away.
Paso 8️⃣ / Step 8️⃣ 🩵✨
Cómo último paso, agregaremos un detalle que a mí en lo personal me gusta mucho, tomaremos el hilo y daremos la cantidad de vueltas que consideremos necesarias en base a que tanto volumen queremos, yo hice 25 vueltas, ahora tomamos un pedazo de hebra y vamos a amarrar las 25 hebras tal cual están, luego las cortamos y tomamos otro pedazo de hebra la cual amarraremos un poco más abajo de dónde amarramos la primera, ahora le daremos vuelta a una hebra hacia la izquierda y la otra hacia la derecha, para al final terminar asegurandolas con 2 nudos, vamos a esconder las hebras llevandolas con una aguja número 4 hasta el centro del diseño y así perderlas, ahora le ponemos a la M las argollas y por último ponemos este detalle en una de las argollas y así es como quedaría listo nuestro hermoso llavero
As a final step, we'll add a detail that I personally like a lot. We'll take the thread and make the number of turns we consider necessary based on how much volume we want. I made 25 turns. Now, we take a piece of thread and we'll tie the 25 strands as they are. Then, we cut them and take another piece of thread, which we will tie a little lower than where we tied the first one. Now, we'll turn one strand to the left and the other to the right. Finally, we'll secure them with 2 knots. We'll hide the strands by taking them with a size 4 needle to the center of the design and thus lose them. Now, we add the rings to the M. Finally, we put this detail on one of the rings. This is how our beautiful keychain will look.
