Hello my lovely people, I hope you're all doing well. I'm back again with a new crochet design, and this time it's an adorable little cat coin purse that I absolutely love. It can also be worn as a charm on your bag, so I hope you like it too! Without further ado, let's get to the materials and the step-by-step instructions!

Paso 1️⃣ / Step 1️⃣ 🤍✨
Lo primero que haremos será un nudo deslizado, luego vamos a subir 8 cadenas, ahora nos vamos a devolver saltandonos 2 cadenas, enlazamos y en la tercera haremos nuestro primer punto medio alto, luego en esa misma cadena haremos un segundo punto medio alto, lo cual sería un aumento, en las próximas 4 cadenas haremos un punto medio alto sobre cada una, en la última cadena que nos queda, vamos a hacer 4 puntos medio altos, ahora pasamos al otro lado de las cadenas donde haremos un punto medio alto en las primeras 4 cadenas y en la última haremos un aumento para un total de 16 puntos medio altos, ahora vamos a cerrar la vuelta con punto deslizado en el primer punto que hicimos.
First, we'll make a slip knot. Then, chain 8. Now, we'll go back, skipping 2 chains, and join the hook. In the third chain, we'll make our first half double crochet. Then, in that same chain, we'll make a second half double crochet, which will be an increase. In the next 4 chains, we'll make a half double crochet in each one. In the last chain, we'll make 4 half double crochets. Now, we'll go to the other side of the chains and make a half double crochet in the first 4 chains and an increase in the last one, for a total of 16 half double crochets. Now, we'll close the round with a slip stitch in the first stitch we made.

Para la segunda vuelta vamos a subir una cadena y en ese mismo espacio haremos un punto medio alto el cual vamos a marcar con nuestro marca puntos para poder distinguir entre la cadena de cierre, la cadena de altura y el punto de partida, pasamos al siguiente punto donde haremos un aumento, es decir, 2 puntos medio altos en el mismo espacio y es la secuencia que debemos de seguir hasta el final, donde obtendremos un total de 24 puntos medios altos, cerramos de la misma manera con punto deslizado en el primer punto.
For the second round, chain one and in the same stitch, make a half double crochet. Mark this stitch with your stitch marker to distinguish between the closing chain, the turning chain, and the starting stitch. Move to the next stitch and make an increase, that is, two half double crochets in the same stitch. Continue this sequence until the end, for a total of 24 half double crochets. Close the round with a slip stitch in the first stitch.

Para la tercera vuelta vamos a subir una cadena nuevamente y en ese mismo punto haremos un punto medio alto, pasamos al siguiente donde haremos otro punto medio alto y en el tercer punto, un aumento, llevaremos esa secuencia hasta el final de la vuelta para un total de 32 puntos medio altos.
For the third round, chain one again and in the same stitch, make a half double crochet. Move to the next stitch and make another half double crochet. In the third stitch, make an increase. Continue this sequence until the end of the round for a total of 32 half double crochets.

Para la cuarta vuelta vamos a subir nuevamente con una cadena y está vez haremos un punto medio alto en los primeros 3 puntos y en el cuarto un aumento, hasta llegar al final donde tendremos un total de 40 puntos medio altos.
For the fourth round, we'll chain again and this time make a half double crochet in the first 3 stitches and an increase in the fourth, until we reach the end where we'll have a total of 40 half double crochets.
Paso 5️⃣ / Step 5️⃣ 🤍✨
En la quinta vuelta subimos la cadena y ahora vamos a hacer una secuencia que al principio me pareció un poco complicada de entender, por eso se las explicaré de mejor forma a ustedes, lo primero que haremos será 1 punto medio alto sobre los primeros dos puntos, en el tercer punto haremos un aumento y en el cuarto y quinto punto haremos un punto medio alto sobre cada uno, es decir, está será la secuencia, por lo que después de los últimos dos puntos, volveremos a hacer 2 puntos medio altos en los siguientes 2 puntos y ahora sí volvemos a realizar un aumento y volvemos otra vez a realizar 2 puntos medio altos, (2 puntos altos, un aumento, 2 puntos altos y se repite la secuencia) haremos esto hasta llegar al final y obtenemos 48 puntos medio altos.
In the fifth round, we chain again and now we're going to make a sequence that at first seemed a little complicated to understand, so I'll explain it better for you. The first thing we'll do is 1 half double crochet in the first two stitches, in the third stitch we'll make an increase, and in the fourth and fifth stitches we'll make a half double crochet in each one. Para la sexta vuelta vamos a comenzar diferente, haremos la cadena y en ese espacio haremos un punto bajo, así como en el siguiente punto también haremos un punto bajo, ahora vamos a volver con los puntos medio altos los cuales haremos 1 sobre los próximos 26 puntos de la vuelta anterior, ahora haremos 4 puntos bajos en los próximos cuatro puntos, ahora vamos con la primera oreja en un mismo punto haremos un punto medio alto, un punto alto, 3 puntos altos dobles, otro punto alto y cerramos con punto medio alto, así es como tendríamos la primera oreja del gatito, ahora pasaremos a los siguientes 6 puntos donde haremos un punto bajo sobre cada uno, subiremos 6 cadenas las cuales vamos a cerrar en la hebra de la primera cadena con punto deslizado para hacer un arito, volvemos a hacer 6 puntos bajos y hacemos la segunda orejita de la misma manera que hicimos la primera, en los siguientes dos puntos que nos quedan disponibles haremos un punto bajo sobre cada uno y cerramos la vuelta en el primer punto con punto deslizado, así nos quedaría la primera tapa de nuestro monedero, cortamos la hebra y hacemos la segunda tapa con la única diferencia de la cantidad de cadenas que haremos para poder cerrar el monedero el cual serán 60 cadenas, del resto el procedimiento es el mismo.

Now we'll go back to half double crochets, making one in each of the next 26 stitches of the previous round. Next, we'll make four single crochets in the next four stitches. Now for the first ear: in the same stitch, we'll make a half double crochet, a double crochet, three treble crochets, another double crochet, and close with a half double crochet. That's how we'll make the first ear of the kitten. Now we'll move to the next six stitches, where we'll make a single crochet in each one. We'll chain six and join them with a slip stitch in the loop of the first chain to make a loop. We'll make another six single crochets and make the second ear in the same way we made the first. In the next two available stitches, we'll make a single crochet in each and close the round in the first stitch with a slip stitch. That's how we'll make the first flap of our coin purse. We cut the yarn and make the second flap, the only difference being the number of chains we'll make to close the coin purse, which will be 60 chains. The rest of the procedure is the same.

Ahora vamos a hacer la carita de nuestro gatito y a unir las dos tapas, las cuales vamos a comenzar a unir desde las orejas con puntos bajos, pero solo tomando la cadenita externa, para que nos quede un lindo diseño, para esto vamos a poner las tapas al revés, para que quede el diseño por fuera, ya al terminar de hacer todos los puntos bajos, cortamos la hebra, la escondemos y le damos ahora sí la vuelta a nuestro monedero y así es como queda de lindo, espero les haya gustado y puedan apreciar cada detalle, les mando un fuerte abrazo ✨❤️
