Hello my lovely Hive people! Today I made something very special, something I hadn't done before but that I absolutely loved. I'm truly happy and proud to have created something so beautiful. It's a picture frame-style ornament to hang on our Christmas trees. This time it will be on my boss's tree, since I won't have a tree at home this year. However, I always love giving little pieces of myself in the form of beautiful gifts. Of course, I recorded the step-by-step instructions so you can try it too, and I'm sure you'll get an amazing result. Without further ado, let's get to the materials and the step-by-step instructions!

Aguja número 3 / Size 3 crochet hook ✨
Paso 1️⃣ / Step 1️⃣ 🤶🏼❤️
Lo primero que haremos será un nudo deslizado, seguidamente vamos a levantar 35 cadenas + 1, es decir 36 cadenas, ahora vamos a cerrarlas en la primera cadena con punto deslizado, subimos una cadena y pasamos al siguiente espacio para hacer un punto bajo, en el que sigue haremos un aumento, es decir 2 puntos bajos en el mismo espacio y así continuaremos la secuencia hasta llega al final, 1 punto bajo, un aumento, cerramos con punto deslizado en el primer punto bajo, ahora vamos a hacer la barba de santa, levantamos 5 cadenas ahora vamos a saltarnos un punto y en el siguiente cerramos con punto deslizado, volvemos a levantar 5 cadenas y repetimos hasta hacer 17 diseños, sacamos suficiente hebra y cortamos, ya quedaría lista la primera parte.

Para la tapa de nuestro santa vamos a hacer un anillo mágico, aseguramos con una cadena y ahora vamos a proceder a hacer 6 puntos bajos pasando por el anillo mágico, cerramos con punto deslizado en el primer punto bajo, subimos una cadena y procedemos a hacer aumento en cada punto para un total de 12 puntos bajos, cerramos de igual forma con punto deslizado en el primer punto, ahora la secuencia será un punto bajo y un aumento hasta llegar al final, para la siguiente vuelta hacemos 2 puntos bajos y 1 aumento, hasta completar la última vuelta que será 6 puntos bajos 1 aumento, luego vamos a sacar suficiente hebra porque con ella vamos a unir la primera pieza y esta, cortamos para así proceder a unir ambas piezas, ubicamos el punto donde cerramos el diseño de la barba y ahí vamos a meter la aguja con el hilo de la otra pieza, así iremos cociendo de forma uniforme hasta tener todo ese extremo cosido, ya que toca dejar el espacio por dónde vamos a meter la fotografía, cortamos la hebra y la escondemos.

Ahora para el gorro comenzaremos haciendo un nudo deslizado y 15 cadenas + 1, ahora vamos a hacer un punto puff por cada cadena, el cual consiste en tomar hebra pasar la aguja hasta el otro lado y traer más hebra, volvemos a enlazar y repetir lo mismo para darnos un total de 5 hebras, tomamos el hilo y pasamos por las 5 hebras para hacer el cierre, ahora haremos lo mismo en cada una de las cadenas hasta llegar al final donde cerraremos con una cadena y cortamos la hebra para esconderla, ahora vamos a ubicar el primer punto puff y vamos a introducir el hilo rojo asegurando con una cadena, ahora sobre cada punto haremos un punto bajo, al llegar al final levantamos 2 cadenas y damos vuelta al tejido, ahora hacemos una disminución en cada extremo para esto vamos a tomar hebra, entramos al primer punto y tomamos hebra del otro extremo ahora vamos a sacar solo 2 hebras y pasamos al siguiente punto haciendo lo mimos, pasamos nuevamente por 2 hebras y nos quedarían 3 hebras restantes las cuales vamos a cerrar juntas para así volverlas un solo punto hacemos ahora un punto alto sobre cada punto hasta llega a los últimos dos puntos y hacer nuevamente una disminución, ahora levantamos 2 cadenas, damos vuelta al tejido y hacemos un punto alto sobre cada punto alto, levantamos 2 cadenas, damos vuelta y volvemos a hacer disminución en cada extremo, para pasar a la siguiente vuelta donde haremos un punto alto sobre cada punto, repetiremos está secuencia hasta que nos queden dos puntos altos y cerramos con una disminución.

We're going to join them together to make them into a single stitch. Now, make a double crochet in each stitch until you reach the last two stitches, then make another decrease. Now, chain 2, turn the work, and make a double crochet in each double crochet. Chain 2, turn, and make another decrease at each end. Del pompón no les hice el paso a paso, porque ya tengo otro post donde lo realice pero de igual forma es muy sencillo, lo vamos a unir a nuestro gorro pasando la aguja por la punta de gorro y traemos las hebras del pompón, luego amarramos y lo aseguramos muy bien, al final que escondemos la hebra roja sobrante, teniendo nuestro gorro listo vamos a tomar un pedazo de hebra y le haremos un nudo en la punta, ahora tomamos dos hebras de la parte de atrás del gorro y aseguramos nuestro colgante con un nudo, vamos a doblar la punta del gorro para que quede de una forma más linda y ahora unimos el gorro del resto del diseño cociendo desde los extremos para que siga quedando la abertura para insertar la fotografía y ahora sí está listo para poner la fotografía que queramos y colgarlo en nuestro árbol, espero les gaya gustado, les mando un fuerte abrazo, muchísimas Gracias por su lindo apoyo siempre ❤️✨
I didn't include step-by-step instructions for the pom-pom because I already have another post where I showed how to do it, but it's still very simple. We'll attach it to our hat by passing the needle through the tip of the hat and bringing the pom-pom strands with it. Then we tie it off and secure it very well. Finally, we hide the remaining red strand. With our hat ready, we'll take a piece of yarn and tie a knot at the tip. Now we take two strands from the back of the hat and secure our pendant with a knot. We'll fold the tip of the hat to make it look nicer, and now we'll attach the hat to the rest of the design by sewing from the ends so that the opening for inserting the photo remains.
