Today I present a Fantasy, inspired by my fashion design studies, where I was captivated by the scenic Aztec culture, pre-Columbian civilization that developed in Central America. Specifically Mexico.
It is here where a culture full of many traditions is promoted, indigenous communities that lived by harvesting the land, with great influences of warriors and the magic of the Gods.
Their culture is very rich in handicrafts, paintings and ritual dances to their Gods.
Their main clothes were loincloths, for the work in the land, very simple clothes and with resistant fabrics, however, the hierarchical situation of their society marked the way they dressed. The more influence they had in the population, the more they wore elegant tunics and precious stones, aaa and as good indigenous warriors, a plume of feathers with their weapons well arranged.

here we can see their folk costumes, skirts and nightgowns, as well as very elaborate and shiny garments. the influence of their religious idols and the majesty of the warriors, all these are ideas that helped me to create this dress for barbe.

the materials I used for the elaboration of this costume were taken from various elements I had at home and reused them to create this final result. I hope you enjoy my step by step.
Step by step
I developed a black bodi with a large neckline, the Aztec women at first worked bare-chested with only a loincloth that allowed them to work the land, however sometimes they wore a nightgown and skirt with bare breasts and many appliques, fabrics and rhinestones.
I made a ducktail skirt, and bordered it with golden son, simulating the embroidery of the Aztecs, with geometric shapes and solar designs, I tried it, I think I should practice more haha.
make her plume and with feathers in this case this barbi is a warrior goddess with her feathered scepter.
something very important and delicate that this fantasy costume has is this cape, very vaporous, it cost me a lot to make it, I imagined it to be longer in the back and with a lot of flight to make it feel regal and powerful. in this case the elaboration of this robe I forgot to take pictures, but here you can see the final result with everything in place.

Hoy les presento una Fantasia, inspirada en mis estudios de diseño de modas, donde quede cautivada por la escénica de la cultura azteca, civilización precolombina que se desarrollo en América Central. Especificamente Mexico.
Es aquí donde se promueve una cultura llena de muchas tradiciones, comunidades indígenas que vivían de cosecar la tierra, con grandes influencias de guerreros y la magia de los Dioses.
Su cultura es muy rica en artesanía, pinturas y bailes rituales a sus Dioses.
Su vestimenta principal eran taparrabos, para el trabajo en la tierra, vestimentas muy sencillas y con telas resistentes, si embargo, la situación de jerarquía de su sociedad marcaba la forma de vestirse. Mientras mas influencia tenia en la población, vestían con elegantes túnicas y piedras preciosas, aaa y como buenos guerreros indígenas un penacho de plumas con sus armas bien dispuestas

aquí podemos observar sus vestimentas populares, faldas y camisones, así como vestimentas muy elaboradas y brillantes. la influencia de sus ídolos religiosos y la majestuosidad de los guerreros, todo esto son ideas que me ayudaron a crear este vestido para barbe.
la creación
los materiales que utilice para la elaboración de este traje fueron los tome de varios elementos que tenia e casa y los reutilice para crear este resultado final. espero disfruten de mi paso a paso.
Paso a paso
Desarrolle un bodi negro con un gran escote, las mujeres aztecas en un principio trabajaban con el pecho descubierto solo con un taparrabo que les permitía las labores de la tierra, sin embargo en ocasiones lucían una camisón y falda con el pecho descubierto y muchas apliques, tejidos y brillantes.
elabore una falda tipo cola de pato, y la borde con hijo dorado, simulando los bordados de los aztecas, con formas geométricas y diseños solares, lo intente, creo que debo practicar mas jaja
realice su penacho y con plumas en este caso esta barbi es una diosa guerrera con su cetro de plumas.
algo muy importante y delicado que tiene este traje de fantasía es esta capa, muy vaporosa, me costo mucho hacerla, me imagine que fuera mas larga detrás y con mucho vuelo para que se sintiera regia y poderosa. en este caso la elaboración de esta bata se me paso tomar fotos, pero aquí se puede ver el resultado final ya con todo en su lugar
