En el marco de la celebración del día internacional de tejer en público que se celebra el segundo sábado del mes de junio, les comparto la segunda parte. Este año tuve la mágica oportunidad de celebrar el día internacional por partida doble. El sábado 08 de junio y ayer domingo.

Within the framework of the celebration of the international day of knitting in public, which is celebrated on the second Saturday of the month of June, I share the second part with you. El evento se realizó en la plaza de Bolívar del Hatillo en Caracas-Venezuela, me encanta el pueblo, el clima estaba delicioso y en algunos momento llovió.
Llegué al evento temprano, y pude recorrer cada unos de los stands repletos de resultados de tejidos en muchas técnicas. El ambiente estaba lleno de alegría y de muchas tertulias y encuentros maravillosos.

The event was held in the Plaza de Bolívar del Hatillo in Caracas-Venezuela, I love the town, the weather was delicious and at some points it rained.
I arrived at the event early, and was able to tour each of the stands full of knitting results in many techniques. The atmosphere was full of joy and many wonderful gatherings and meetings.
Este espacio es maravilloso porque compartes lo que sabes, aprendes de otros y puedes también sacar tu tejido y tejer al ritmo de una gran charla. Aunque mi dedo seguía lesionado no quise dejar de tejer en ese ambiente tan nutrido de puntadas volcadas en charlas. Fue un momento muy especial tejer en ese ambiente tan nutrido de buena vibra.

This space is wonderful because you share what you know, you learn from others and you can also take out your knitting and knit to the rhythm of a great talk. Although my finger was still injured, I did not want to stop knitting in that environment so full of stitches focused on talks. It was a very special moment knitting in that environment so nourished with good vibes.
Dentro de la programación del evento, era realizar un recorrido que incluía visitar tiendas que se dedican al arte del tejido en diferentes estilos. También hubo talleres de macramé, tejido de accesorios y tejido para principiantes en crochet. Hubo rifas, ventas de hilos y ventas de diversas prendas tejido.

Within the event's programming, it was a tour that included visiting stores that are dedicated to the art of weaving in different styles. There were also workshops on macrame, accessory knitting and beginner crocheting. There were raffles, thread sales and sales of various knitted garments.
Dentro del mundo del tejido, hay una técnica que me encanta por lo sublime que la inspira, esta técnica es la Wayuu. Y lo maravillo del recorrido fue que me tropecé con mi profesora de Wayuu, ella me dio clase hace aproximadamente cuatro años. En el recorrido ella conversó sobre la magia de tejido Wayuu.

Within the world of weaving, there is a technique that I love because of how sublime it inspires, this technique is the Wayuu. And the wonderful thing about the trip was that I ran into my Wayuu teacher, she taught me approximately four years ago. On the tour she talked about the magic of Wayuu weaving.
Me disfruté mucho este día internacional de tejer público, que hasta turismo hice en este maravilloso pueblo. Por más encuentros así que me llenan de inspiración y amor. Gracias a Dios por esta maravillosa oportunidad.
