Hello everybody,
My crocheted project represents the hot season because it is the season we are currently experiencing here in our City though it rain usually at night but it in generally it is just like summer feeling, lots and lots of sunshine. My entry - my crocheted top, done just yesterday after lunch, I called Summer in December...
Grateful much that last December 10, Saturday, I finished crocheting the 13" x 70" table runner, a custom made to order by my eldest daughter's friend.
After I wrapped with bubble plastic wrapper the table runner, I first read the needleworkmonday contest, just reviewing the theme and it's rules. Hmm, I must make a season project. With time constraint, I just searched from my stash my unfinished projects. Then, I found this long time done flowerette grannies I made last first week of October 2020...
This was my inspiration I searched from Pinterest. This was supposed to be my project but I did'nt have enough colorful cotton so I stopped.
I searched for black yarn to continue what I've started but I have no more black yarn I found purple yarn instead.
I frogged the black one and changed it to purple.
Here's the front form when I joined the squares as I go...
Then, I made a mesh stitch for the back side, where I added some rows at the side because what I made lacking in length.
Attached the sides of the front and back side with single crochet.
After attaching the two sides I made a mesh stitched using the purple yarn at the hip part, then I changed to another color another materials the polyester cotton in deep old rose colorway and lastly add a pompom for the edging.
After making the pompom, I formed the shoulder part still in mesh stitch joining it to the back. I did the left side first, then, with the right side it is easy for I just followed the counting of the left shoulder.
After attaching the shoulder to the back, I crocheted the edging all around with scallop stitch, then, weave all ends.
Yeheey! Done! I now have another beach wear.
Way to go for Neddlework Community Contest.
Thanks for dropping by...
