Hello everybody,
Last friday night when I browsed FB especially Cebu Crochet Group our local group.Sarah Palmares, one of the admins on Tuesday's tips or tricks shared a video about Wind Spinner. They were cute and I think our Alateris Tree or Cotton Candy Berry, in front of our house will look nice with this Wind Spinner. Always windy here in our area.
I right away search from my stash those excess yarns or items that I frogged before. And, lo, done it.
How I made them:
Materials needed: Yarns better 3 ply acrylic yarns not too bulky yarns, 3.5 crochet hook and scissor.
- CH(chain) 100 or desire lenth, fasten off, cut.
- Get back to 1st CH, 1 SC(single crochet) in each 100 CH, fasten off, cut.
- Get back to 1st SC, 2 DC( double crochet) in each 100 SC, fasten off, cut.
- Get back to first DC, 3 DC in each 200 DC, fasten off, cut.
- Get back to first DC, 1SC in each DC loosely, fasten off, cut longer for the tying. Weave ends and shape the Wind Spinner.
This morning I was not satisfied with the shape of the 3 Wind Spinner I've done, so, I make another one still using the pattern but number 4 I did not cut it instead I crochet SC each with the inverted or at the back part of the 3DC then shape it.
And, then I added a fringe at the bottom.
Here is my Alateris Tree, nice and cute!
This can be hung on windows and christmas tree. So, make your own and beautify your space.
I'll park my hook now. Till then.
Thanks for dropping by...
