Si tu pieza no tiene costura o ruedo por sus bordes, podemos pasarla por una vela encendida o palillo de fósforos, en caso de que deshile.

Luego procedemos a bordar todo el borde del pañito utilizando un punto de Festón doble, en el cual debemos pasar la aguja con el hilo por el revés de la tela y sacarla por el derecho, luego volvemos a introducir la aguja por el mismo agujero por dónde salió pero desde la parte del derecho dejando una orejita de hilo para pasar por allí la aguja y hacer una especie de matadura de costura. Esto lo vamos a hacer tres veces, pasando el hilo por el mismo agujero.
saltamos un espacio de 1cm para comenzar a hacer el mismo punto de festón, sin cortar el hilo, ya que este quedará por encima del borde.
Then we proceed to embroider the entire edge of the scarf using a double scallop stitch, in which we must pass the needle with the thread through the back of the fabric and take it out through the right side, then we reinsert the needle through the same hole where it came out but from the right side leaving a little ear of thread to pass the needle through there and make a kind of stitching stitch. Una vez que hayamos terminado de bordar todo el contorno del pañito, procedemos a hacer un punto de cadeneta por la orilla del bordado anterior, es decir, por todo el contorno de adentro del pañito.
