Hoy estoy feliz de mostrarles un amigurumi que estuve tejiendo para una de mis primas quien estuvo de cumpleaños hace unos días.
Happy and blessed Wednesday dear creative friends. It is a great pleasure for me to share my crochet projects with you in this beautiful community that opens the doors to all of us who do needle arts.
Today I am happy to show you an amigurumi I was knitting for one of my cousins who had a birthday a few days ago.
My cousin Andrea is an animal lover, but especially a cat lover. It was her who gave us Giorno to be our pet, and it was also her who brought us Robin, our beloved dog. She has already given us two pets, so for her birthday I wanted to give her something very special and what could be more special than an amigurumi of her kitten Pelusa?
Pelusa is a very cute gray cat, he is very loved by his owner who takes care of him as if he was her baby. Pelusa has been through several accidents in which very bad people have hurt him, that's why my cousin Andrea takes care of him and protects him a lot. She really loves her cat, that's why I wanted to give her this little amigurumi as a birthday present.
To knit this kitten I searched with several video tutorials until I found this design that is very simple and at the same time very cute. I worked with 2mm thick macramé yarn and a 2.25 mm crochet. I used gray and white yarn to make it as close as possible to the original color of Pelusa. I started by knitting the legs and then worked my way up to the body. The next step was to knit the head, front legs, ears and tail. The last step was to join all the parts together and make the features of the face.
Fue un placer compartir esta experiencia con ustedes.
Gracias por leer, saludos y bendiciones.
Knitting this amigurumi was really nice, as I was able to realize that my fear towards cats has decreased notoriously: Now cats seem to me adorable creatures, full of lots of love to give. Coincidentally our cat Giorno and Pelusa are related, as well as my cousin Andrea and I, so everything stays in the family.
It was a pleasure to share this experience with you.
Thanks for reading, greetings and blessings.
