Hello, hello creative friends. I hope everyone is having a great week. I for one have had some health issues, but I'm feeling better now. I am so excited to come and tell you about my new adventure with sewing.
A few years ago I acquired a sewing machine, I was very excited to learn how to sew the garments I designed for my daughter, since it was always my mother who sewed them on her machine. However, the machine and I did not have a good relationship, I became very frustrated and gave it up completely.
A few weeks ago my daughter became enthusiastic about sewing some garments and we decided to bring the machine home again, since since I left the country I had left it in my mother's care.
My daughter likes sewing very much and in Peru she took some classes. I also had contact with industrial machines in some jobs in garment factories, but nothing that I liked enough to continue learning.
Este proyecto lo encontré en Pinterest y aunque hay muchos modelos, yo elegí el más sencillo. Lo hice pequeño para no gastar mucho material, depende del resultado estaré elaborando unos más grandes y con más detalles.
Having the machine at home, I was curious to try it again. So I looked for a simple project that I could make without much complication. The project is a small organizer made with fabric that is made from 4 square pieces. I found this project on Pinterest and although there are many models, I chose the simplest one. I made it small so as not to spend a lot of material, depending on the result I will be making larger ones with more details.
As far as sewing is concerned, I don't feel capable of explaining a step by step, since all of this is very new to me. I simply want to share my anecdotes and my experiences in this new adventure. I want to have fun while I learn and not feel pressured. At times I get very stressed because I feel that with crochet everything depends on me and when it comes to sewing things depend on how I understand and handle the machine.
For now sewing will be just a hobby which I will practice whenever I feel like it and have good energy, to avoid frustration. On the other hand, I am very happy that my daughter is so excited about sewing, because she is very creative and I am sure she will be able to make great projects. I loved sharing this process with you. Thank you for reading, greetings and blessings. 🤗💗
