Ayer se me ocurrió una idea de nuevo, que ya tenía rato pensando, pero que no me había animado a llevar a cabo, debido a mis ocupaciones. Y ayer sin pensarlo mucho busque el hilo, la aguja y la camisa rota. Siempre pienso que las prendan merecen una segunda oportunidad y más que esta tenía arreglo. Así que para que no se notara la costura que iba a realizarle para cerrar el roto, la decore con un bordado que les mostraré a continuación.
Hello Hivers of the World! 🌎 Happy Friday to all. I hope you are having a great day. Yesterday I came up with an idea again, which I had been thinking about for a while, but I had not dared to carry out, due to my busy schedule. And yesterday without thinking much about it, I looked for the thread, the needle and the torn shirt. I always think that a garment deserves a second chance and even more that this one had a fix. So I decorated it with an embroidery that I will show you below, so that the seam that I was going to make to close the tear would not be noticed.
Seleccione la prenda que estaba rota y empecé primero por realizar una costura invisible para cerrar el roto para preparar la prenda y bordar sobre ella, es por esto que no necesitaba un acabado perfecto ya que iba a bordar sobre la costura. Como se muestra a continuación en las fotos.
I selected the garment that was torn and started first by making an invisible seam to close the tear to prepare the garment and embroider over it, this is why I didn't need a perfect finish since I was going to embroider over the seam. As shown below in the photos.
Luego con ayuda de un lápiz, marque a mano alzada sobre la tela la figura que iba a realizar, este caso, una hoja. La marque al rededor de la costura que iba a tapar con el bordado, con la finalidad de ocultarla.
Then with the help of a pencil, mark freehand on the fabric the figure I was going to make, in this case, a leaf. I marked it around the seam that I was going to cover with the embroidery, in order to hide it.
Luego de esto, enhebre el hilo con la aguja y comencé la primera puntada atravesando el centro del diseño, y luego llegue la segunda puntada al extremo superior del diseño, es decir, en la punta de la hoja. Luego repetí el mismo proceso solo que iniciando la puntada desde cada costado de la hoja y finalizando la puntada en el mismo orificio de la punta.
After this, I threaded the thread with the needle and started the first stitch through the center of the design, and then reached the second stitch at the top of the design, that is, at the tip of the leaf. I then repeated the same process only starting the stitch from each side of the leaf and ending the stitch at the same hole at the tip.
Puse un tambor sobre la tela, ya que sentí que necesitaba tener la tela templada para que este tipo de tejidos quedara bien y además para trabajar más cómoda. I put a drum on the fabric, as I felt that I needed to have the fabric tempered for this type of fabric to look good and also to work more comfortably. Esta fue la primera hoja que hice, la verdad es que no me quedo tan bonita, pero luego me di cuenta que fue por el hilo que use. Puesto que realice otras 2 hojas más pero con sedalina y obtuve un mejor acabado. Luego con ayuda del lápiz, marque sobre la tela el diseño de las 2 hojas. Trate que me quedaran simétricas y este fue mi resultado.
This was the first leaf I made, the truth is that it was not so pretty, but then I realized that it was because of the thread I used. Since I made 2 more leaves but with silk and I got a better finish. Then with the help of a pencil, I marked on the fabric the design of the 2 leaves. I tried to make them symmetrical and this was my result.
